The much-talked-about Dallas Cowboys defense seemed to be in shambles against Geno Smith and the team. The Seattle Seahawks were trailblazing the Dallas Cowboys, and Skip Bayless was unhappy. The avid Dallas Cowboys advocate has again turned sour on his favorite team. Maybe DK Metcalf exposed the Cowboys’ defense for good.

Even Micah Parsons hasn’t been able to affect the Cowboys’ defense. Skip Bayless came out on X and tweeted a simple message showing that he’s losing his trust in the Dallas Cowboys for better or worse. But to his surprise, his tweet would be in vain, as the Cowboys’ defense showed up toward the end of the game.

Apparently, Bayless has nothing more to say about the Dallas Cowboys. Maybe we will see more jerseys thrown in the trash bin. He says he’s given up on the Dallas Cowboys, and their defense has been exposed. This points to a possibility that, per Bayless, the Cowboys’ defense isn’t all that great, and he finally gave up on it.

“OK, I give up: The Cowboys defense has gotten exposed,” wrote Bayless on X.

The Cowboys had a great start, but their worst dreams became a reality when the Seahawks’ Geno Smith and DK Metcalf started pushing their offense. For now, the Seahawks have made it a point not to let the Cowboys get their way, that too on their turf. Dak Prescott and Geno Smith went head-to-head against each other.

The game was a roller coaster of emotions. Just when the fans thought the Cowboys were not coming back, they replied with a touchdown of their own, gaining a lead.

Maybe it got personal for the Dallas Cowboys when DK Metcalf ran for a 73-yard touchdown, and after that, neither team held back. Dak Prescott has a pass completion rate of 70.7%, and Geno Smith’s completion rate dropped to 58.3%. Though Smith had 3 touchdowns till the fleeting moments of the fourth quarter, the Cowboys did a pretty good job stopping him.

Geno Smith played with a bruised arm and still ran laps around the Cowboys’ defense at one point. However, Micah Parsons came in a clutch at the last moment of the match, tackled Geno Smith and didn’t let him complete the pass. Parsons had 2 tackles throughout the game. The Cowboys had 411 yards against the Seahawks’ 406.
