Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs squad made an insane comeback after they lost the chilling battle to the Philadelphia Eagles. The game against the Las Vegas Raiders, though, was a different story. The Kansas City team came out with a final score of 31-17 and maintained their spot as the best team in the AFC West. The news of the rivalry between the Raiders had traveled far and wide. Even fans from Mexico showed up to watch Mahomes do his magic.
They say you shouldn’t meet your idols, but not this kid who showed up from Mexico. He broke even every cent he paid to get to the Allegiant Stadium and even made a profit. After all, getting a gift from Patrick Mahomes, let alone his recognition, is a gift to many. The kid was lucky, to say the least.

Kingdom Crew uploaded a post on Instagram that shows Mahomes’ emotional side. A kid with big dreams flew all the way from Mexico to watch his idol, Patrick Mahomes, play. He held a cardboard sign that said, “I came from Mexico to see Pat Mahomes, I believe in Chiefs.” Well, no decent human being will ignore the sign. Mahomes did precisely the same, but he didn’t leave him an autographed jersey. Instead, he gave the kid much more, something he will cherish forever.

Mahomes was seen autographing the #15 jerseys as the game concluded. The sign might have caught his attention as he took his glove out and handed it to the kid. The wholesome gesture from the QB1 has won the internet and given hope to people that meeting your idol in real life isn’t all that bad. The post on Instagram was captioned, “Came for Patrick, left with his glove! 🤩🇲🇽.”
The kid will remember Mahomes’ play for the rest of his life, especially after the Chiefs won by a landslide. He got the show he sought as Mahomes put up some exceptional numbers.

The loss to the Philadelphia Eagles seemed to go to Mahomes’ head, and he took things personally this time. Mahomes came out with 2 touchdowns and a pass completion rate of 79.4%, where he made 27 out of 34 passes. He passed for 298 yards. This is a huge improvement compared to the Eagles game, where he had a pass completion rate of 55.8%, though Mother Nature was not on his side.
But it’s not like the Raiders played badly. They had the Chiefs biting their nails as they led them with two touchdowns at the start of the game. Unfortunately, walls came crumbling down on the newly reformed Las Vegas Raiders.
