The NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo has served the city of Milwaukee and the state of Wisconsin for 11 years. However, his older brother and fellow Milwaukee Bucks player Thanasis Antetokounmpo believes the state of Wisconsin is ready to prepare for a new leader! And it is none other than the Green Bay Packers’ QB Jordan Love.

Giannis was drafted by the Bucks in 2013, while his brother Thanasis joined the Bucks in 2019. The siblings have paved the way for the sports community in the city of Milwaukee and the state of Wisconsin. By winning the NBA championship in 2021. But according to the older brother, Love is set to take center stage from the city of Green Bay.

A hope for the entire state of Wisconsin

Love recently appeared on Thanasis’ podcast ‘Thanalysis Show’. And the former power forward for the New York Knicks, Thanasis couldn’t stop singing praises for Love. Even before introducing his guest, Thanasis in proper NBA style, he put the crown on Love’s head.

“This is one of the players, I really believe are going to be the pillars for Wisconsin sports and for the community”, said the 31-year-old Thanasis. He considers his younger brother Giannis, the 8X NBA All-Star, to be one of those pillars too.

However, Thanasis did not stop there! “they’re going to do for Milwaukee and not just Milwaukee! Wisconsin, you know the whole state, so I’m hyped about this”. And there is plenty to be hyped up about Love, considering his awesome performance last season.

The expectations from the Packers were minimal last season. After spending 18 years with the team, Aaron Rodgers departed to the New York Jets. And the youngster Love was thrust into the starting role. But, the 25-year-old did not disappoint!

The Packers drafted love in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. And for three seasons, he received limited game time but invaluable education under A-Rod. The QB demonstrated that last season by scoring a mammoth 35 TDs and taking the Packers to the second round of the playoffs.
