What is Jordan Mailata’s salary and contract tenure with the Eagles?

27-year-old left tackle Jordan Mailata has come a long way since being drafted in the seventh round as the 233rd overall pick in 2018 by the Eagles. Originally from Australia, Mailata had little experience in American football when he entered the NFL Pathways Program. However, over the years, he developed his skills and earned a starting position as the Eagles’s left tackle. And thus, Jordan’s hard work paid off with a series of lucrative contracts.

Initially, Jordan signed a four-year deal worth $64 million. But when we add incentives to it, this amount could reach up to $80 million. Additionally, this included $40.85 million guaranteed money. That indeed sounds like a lucrative one. But there’s more to this contract story.

In 2024, Jordan Mailata secured an even bigger three-year extension worth $66 million. And guess what? In this, he is subjected to receive $48 million guaranteed and a $20 million signing bonus. So, all in all, this new deal pushed his overall earnings past $100 million. Now that makes him one of the highest-paid left tackles in the NFL as well as one of Australia’s richest sportsmen. This extension even increased his 2024 cap no. as per Over The Cap by $1.175 million, while 2025 by $1.85 million.

So, in total, his average annual salary is $22 million via Spotrac in 2024. Hmm, that amount is not at all bad for someone who had never played football before being drafted. And Jordan deserves all these, as he is locked with the Eagles till 2028.
