The San Francisco 49ers are heading to the Super Bowl! And the players and coaches will not be the only ones representing the red, white & gold on the Super Bowl weekend. The entire organization, including the staff members, is heading to Las Vegas!

Denise DeBartolo York, the current owner of the 49ers, and Jed York, the CEO, are splurging big money to make this happen. The 49ers’ ownership has been with the DeBartolo and York families since its inception in 1944. And their entire organization will get the family treatment for this Super Bowl as well.

After winning the NFC Championship against the Detroit Lions, the 49ers had booked their date with destiny. And they are breaking the bank to make this occasion a special one for the entire organization. With the staff of the franchise of just over 1500 people, the owners are chartering multiple planes to take them to the Super Bowl.

This family-style gesture is set to cost York around a million dollars according to current estimates. This figure could balloon to a much higher cost as well. But the 49ers do not mind, since this is not the first time for them.

The 49ers owners treated their entire staff to similar treatment in 2020 as well. With Super Bowl LIV on the line in Miami, Florida, the 49ers left no stone unturned, bringing their complete staff to the town. However, the owners and the staff will be hoping for a happy ride home this time around.

Can Las Vegas land 49ers a win?

For more than 2 decades, the 49ers have been unable to win the Super Bowl. They came closest in 2020 against their foes of this year as well, the Kansas City Chiefs. But even after leading the game for most of it, the 49ers lost.

The Chiefs, with the help of Patrick Mahomes, scored 21 unanswered points. Eventually winning the Super Bowl by 31-20. But the 49ers will be looking for a change in the deserts of Las Vegas.
