But I’m not going to throw away positive vibes either, so keep ’em coming. That’s all good. But, yeah, that’s not something I’m really focused on.”

Besides children and Jessica, Mike McCarthy has three sisters – Colleen, Ellen, and Kellie. He also had a brother named Joe, but Joseph McCarthy III died in 2011 when Joe was 47. Mike’s father was a true gentleman. Besides being Mike’s great father and role model, he was a firefighter and police officer.

Back in the time when he was recruited as HC of the Packers, he poured out his feelings about his personal life. He said, “I think sports is a great training environment for life experiences, and I wish I’d have a much more practical, simple mindset in my personal life as I do in my profession.”
