Mere hours after the deal, Wilson accompanied his wife Ciara to the Vanity Fair. Later, the singer shared a post for the same while celebrating her engagement anniversary with Russell.

Ciara posted pictures of her and Russell on Instagram, captioned, “I Night Was Had…Vanity Fair. Oscars”. Russell reposted the same on his story with the words “Oscar Night out with my Ride or Die”. The pop singer further reposted it with three white heart emojis “I love you baby, 3.11 The today we got engaged”. Ciara and Russell Wilson have been together for a long time. They met in 2015 and got married just one year after the meeting.

Wilson proposed to Ciara with a beautiful custom diamond ring while on a trip to the Seychelles islands. The ring had 16 carats diamonds, according to Us Weekly magazine“She said Yes!!! Since Day 1 I knew you were the one. No Greater feeling… #TrueLove @Ciara,” Wilson confirmed his engagement with her on Instagram.

The couple have three kids together: their daughter Sienna Princess, their son Win Harrison Wilson, and Ciara’s son Future Zahir Wilburn from her past relationship with the rapper Future. A few hours prior to the anniversary post, Russell Wilson announced his decision to join the Pittsburgh Steelers, marking the start of a new future for the veteran QB.

A new home for Russell Wilson

The former Broncos’ QB has agreed to a one-year deal with the Steelers, reportedly earning close to the league veteran minimum of $1.21 million. While Wilson cannot officially sign with the Steelers until Wednesday, this agreement represents a new beginning for both sides. The 35-year-old QB’s modest contract comes because of the dues that the Broncos owe him.
