The Philadelphia Eagles started off their 2024 season with a win over the Green Bay Packers. However, what caught the major attention in this Brazil game was the constant injuries and slips. Among multiple injury scares, Jordan Love’s consecutive hits on the field caught eyeballs from the NFL community, who are now hoping that it doesn’t turn out to be ugly. And the latest to pray for him is former NFL center, Jason Kelce!
As the game was about to end, the last one to be hit with an ankle injury was Packers QB, Jordan Love. Hence, after seeing his team, Eagles’ win, the former Philadelphia player, Jason Kelce, took to X to share his concern about the quarterback’s latest injury. He wrote, “Hopefully Jordan Love is okay, love watching him play, was quietly a little nervous about this one, big win for the Good Guys.”
But how did it happen? In the game, while throwing a pass, Love was tackled down by the two Eagles’ defensive players, when there were just 5 seconds remaining in the clock. However, he was hit after the throw, the final moments saw him lying on the ground in pain, holding his ankle. The medical staff and team members rushed towards him, as currently he is being monitored after the game.

In addition to Kelce’s thoughts, many Packers’ fans kept some weird requests for him. Some commented on his post, “if he meant this he’d donate his leg to Jordan Love.” Ugh! This sounded weird and technically impossible, but Kelce took it in a light way. Sharing this Packers’ fan’s tweet, the seven-time Pro-Bowl star said, “I promise you, for the longevity of his career Jordan Love does not want my leg!” To which another fan chimed in who said, “I tried to figure out a 3rd leg joke but it never came to me. no pun intended.” But the retired player again made it very clear for the fans that Love “definitely doesn’t want that leg either.”
Although this leg story seems humorous for many, on the other hand, Jordan Love’s recent trouble is not at all a joke!

After seeing his pain, many have started speculating that Love might be facing MCL sprain or an ACL injury. Some also think that it might be a high-ankle injury. According to DPT, Dr. Evan Jeffries, Jordan Love’s injury “Looks to be a high ankle sprain and needs to rule out lower leg fracture.” However, as coach Matt LaFluer said, “I don’t know. We’re waiting. Obviously very concerned about it. We’ll wait to find out when we do more tests,” it remains to be seen what comes out this time for Love’s destiny.
Meanwhile, backup Malik Willis stepped in at the last moment, but seeing him arguably weak, the fans are just hoping for Love to come back. This was because after Willis’ entry with just 5 seconds remaining, the Packers couldn’t recover, falling to the Eagles 34-29.
