The Arrowhead Stadium is all set to host one of the most anticipated games of this season: the Super Bowl rematch between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles. In Super Bowl LVII, the Chiefs defeated the Eagles with a score of 35-38. This game will be a chance for the Eagles to seek revenge for that defeat.

However, this isn’t the only reason driving fans crazy for Monday Night Football. It’s highly likely that pop icon Taylor Swift will attend this game along with her dad, Scott, to support her current partner, Travis Kelce, and his Kansas team. This has also impacted the ticket prices for the game. Check out what the expected prices for the Super Bowl rematch might end up being!

In the NFL, Chiefs game tickets usually come at a high price, but this season, they have witnessed an unprecedented surge in their ticket prices. This may largely be credited to Taylor Swift’s presence in the stands. When Swift attended the Chiefs game against the New York Jets to cheer for Travis, the ticket prices surged by 40%.

This increase elevated the cheapest ticket from $89 to $119 initially, and at the last minute, it soared to a whopping $152. For that same game, the average ticket price hovered around $500, with the highest ticket reaching up to $2000. The Monday Night Football game continues in this trend, with the cheapest ticket for this game starting at $325. For the best seats in the stadium, ticket prices range from $1000 to $3000.

Surely, with such skyrocketing prices, this ranks among the more expensive games to attend. So far, Swift has attended four Chiefs games, and this upcoming game might mark her fifth attendance. Her dad, Scott, might also join her at the game – and if he does, he’ll be fanning the flames of some very specific chatter.

Is Taylor Swift’s father, Scott, switching his allegiance to the Kansas City Chiefs?

Scott Swift attended the Taylor Swift concert in Buenos Aires along with Travis in a VIP tent. While snippets from the Argentina show went viral for multiple reasons, Papa Swift made the news for a major NFL upset. Eagles fans were disappointed when they noticed Scott wearing a red Chiefs lanyard around his neck. The Swift family has been devoted, long-standing supporters of the Eagles. In her song ‘Gold Rush,’ Taylor also expressed her affection for the Eagles team.

However, after Scott was spotted with the Chiefs lanyard, Chiefs fans began to count him in as one of their own. This didn’t sit well with hardcore Eagles fans and some of them even labeled him as a ‘sellout’ on social media. It would be interesting to see whom Scott truly supports: the Eagles or the Chiefs.
