Since 2018, the RB has devoted substantial time and resources to Covenant House New Jersey, an organization dedicated to helping homeless youth. Serving as their official spokesperson, Barkley has been a beacon of hope and inspiration. He has not just gotten additional support from donors but also provided invaluable encouragement to the youth facing challenging circumstances. His organization has undertaken many incredible projects, making him worthy of the nomination of such a prestigious honor.

Saquon Barkley has marked his presence in community service quite well. Firstly, his commendable work includes the formation of the Michael Ann & Saquon Barkley Hope Foundation, a tribute to his late grandmother. This foundation is pivotal in aiding underprivileged families, offering scholarships, educational support, and athletic guidance.

Secondly, not to mention, Barkley joined hands with St. Luke’s University Health Network to establish a community center in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. They aim to foster opportunities for youth in physical activities, academics, and life choices. Not just that, but thirdly, by demonstrating his commitment to the homeless, Barkley has actively engaged with Operation Address The Homeless (OATH) in Allentown, PA. There too, the main aim remains to address the rising issue of homelessness.

Next, he has also shown immense support for children in New York City homeless shelters. He has helped them by distributing holiday gifts and has been involved with Covenant House in New Jersey to raise awareness and funds for youth homelessness. Furthermore, Barkley’s efforts extend to supporting Children of Promise, which is an organization dedicated to aiding youth with incarcerated parents.
