“He Is Lucky”: Patrick Mahomes Drops Sincere Verdict on Travis Kelce’s Blossoming Romance With Taylor Swift

The Kansas City Chiefs have enjoyed heightened attention around them, ever since the pop icon Taylor Swift came into the mix. And now the team’s superstar QB Patrick Mahomes shared opinions of his own about the TE’s budding romance. He also mentioned how his wife has a special friend to cheer in the box now and the unique situation he and the team found themselves in.

In a recent interview with CBS, The Grim Reaper was asked about something that the whole world wants to know- Swelce. And the 28-year-old did not shy away from answering. Mahomes said, “He’s lucky enough to be with a great girl, a great woman. It’s been cool to interact with her and see cuz she’s top tier of her profession and see how she drives and she becomes that…I’m glad that she’s the person that she is um and that’s why I think her and Travis match so well!” 

The 2X Super Bowl winner also stated that, though there was some initial awkwardness when no one in the dressing room asked Travis about his relationship with the American singer back then and “just let him do what he was doing.” After which he started bringing Taylor around it soon dissipated. “She’s just part of Chiefs Kingdom and she is part of the team”, Mahomes told the interviewer.  

The Chiefs QB and Travis Kelce have been buddies for a long time now and have shared common emotions over the years with The Super Bowl wins, the heartbreaking losses, and injuries, to name a few. So it is understandable, that Magic has opinions of his own about the TE’s budding romance. And it sure seems that Mahomes has given his seal of approval to his friend.

Not only has the queen of music become a part of Kelce’s life and the Chiefs’ Kingdom. She has also developed a special bond with Mahomes’ wife Brittany as well.

Mahomes and family are with Swift

As soon as Taylor Swift burst onto the scene at the Chiefs, many rumors were flying around that Brittany and Swift might lock horns. But that did not turn out to be the case. “It’s cool that she’s embraced Britney and they’ve built a friendship as well”, said Mahomes.

It is also observed that two women often sit next to each other in a box suite at Chiefs games, and have hung out together several times in both New York City and Kansas City. The two lady lucks even cemented their friendship by debuting a special handshake as they watched the Chiefs take on the Los Angeles Chargers in October.

The two even coincidentally wore similar game-day looks on a couple of occasions to cheer their men out on the field. That has been the case for more than 3 times now. Swift has been enjoying the company of Brittany and her two kids, apart from the Chiefs and Kelce himself.
