The Broncos wide receiver added to his impressive season tally with his 10th touchdown. Sutton’s spectacular catch during the match was not only a testament to his skill but a way to get his team closer to victory. Even the quarterback Russell Wilson was impressed by the phenomenal catch.

One needs “great hands” to catch like Courtland Sutton

During the third quarter, Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson got engaged in a one-on-one battle against Chargers cornerback Michael Davis. So, he showcased his precision by connecting with Courtland Sutton. Despite the intense contest for position, the WR’s exceptional maneuvering skills came to the forefront as he deftly navigated around Davis.

In the post-game interview, Wilson described Sutton’s stunning catch: “Courtland obviously has been special all year. He’s tremendous work ethic, great leader, great teammate, got great hands, he can catch everything.” Then he also mentioned that it was a special play as he caught the ball with just one hand in front of the fans. Sutton managed to make a stunning one-handed grab for the touchdown, all while contending with interference from the Chargers’ cornerback. This led to a nearly impossible 46-yard touchdown reception. Interestingly, this was Sutton’s tenth touchdown in the season. The Denver Broncos are quite lucky to have a player like Sutton by their side, as he’s done something that hasn’t happened in the franchise in nearly a decade.

Before this season, Sutton had six touchdown receptions in 2019, which was a career-high performance for the player. In this season, undoubtedly, he is the master of catches.
