The San Francisco 49ers are on fire. After a disappointing loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 11, the 49ers bounced back with an unexpected win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13. Tied with the Los Angeles Rams for the best record in the NFC at 9-3. The 49ers have an awe-inspiring offense, capped off by two stat leaders.

It was one of the most destructive performances in the NFL, that too against none other than Super Bowl favorites, the Eagles. With the final score of 42-19, have the 49ers confirmed their dark horse status? Both Brock Prudy and Christian McCaffrey look unstoppable.

The 23-year-old QB and 27-year-old RB have been wreaking havoc on the NFL’s defenses. Their latest victim was the Eagles. Apart from avenging their NFC Championship Game defeat from last season, the 49ers humiliated the Eagles. Scoring on all six of their red zone trips and had seven plays of 20 yards or more.

The 49ers scored 42 points, the most by any team against the Eagles this year. And racked up 514 total yards, the second-most by any team against the Eagles in the last decade. In the process became the rushing yards leader in the entire NFL with 1032 yards.

While QB Prudy leads the yards gained per attempt, charts in the NFL amongst the QBs who have thrown for 1000+ yards. He averages 9.6 and the closest to him is the Miami Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa, with a full yard behind. But the job is still not done, as the 49ers will want to have bragging rights under their belt next week.

Facing each other for the second time in three weeks. The 49ers and the Seattle Seahawks have a long and intense rivalry and it will be showcased once again. While the 49ers will want to keep their 4-game winning streak going, the Seahawks will want to end their 3-game losing streak.

The game will be a hard-fought affair as the 49ers are aiming for the NFC West crown and the Seahawks are fighting for their playoff lives. The 49ers would want every advantage they can get in the postseason, making a win essential and the Seahawks need a mandatory win to have the chance for the wildcard spot.
