Is Jordan Love's recurring injury a sign of bad luck or something more concerning for the Packers?

The SNF is here. Cheeseheads were waiting eagerly for Jordan Love to battle against Jaguars. But the game has come with a shock to everyone. He suffered an MCL injury in the season’s first game against the Eagles. This is the second time. And it’s enough to scare the loyal fans. This would be the last thing on their hearts.

During the first quarter, with 8:15 remaining on the clock, the quarterback was clicked on camera, going into the medical tent. The team doctors checked his left knee, which might have given him discomfort. However, he was out in no time. It was so fast that Malik Willis didn’t even have to warm up or come on the field. After 1st half, coach Matt LaFleur told fans that Love was facing issues in moving because of which they had to change the play calling tactics.

Today’s game also offers Jordan Love a splendid chance to join the football greats. If he manages to make two or more touchdown passes, his name will be mentioned, along with Dan Marino, Peyton Manning, Tom Brady, Philip Rivers, and Aaron Rodgers for having 12 straight games with the same record number of passes.

But there’s an alarming situation also for the quarterback and the team. In 5 games this year, he has 110 of 179 passes (61.3% completion) in 1,351 passing yards with 15 touchdowns and 8 interceptions. If left unnoticed, the high number of interceptions might hurt the team in key moments. Head coach LaFleur has to work on that.

After the game, Jordan Love made one thing clear: he wouldn’t give up until the last second of the game. And his energy would be dedicated to winning the games. After the game, he said, “You’ve got to be out there and be aggressive and go win those games. I’m always going to play the way I play, and learn from mistakes, and grow from them.
