The Denver Broncos have garnered some negative media attention over the past couple of days. Unfortunately, their losses have nothing to do with the negative attention, but it’s Russell Wilson’s controversial contract clauses. Wilson was benched for the game against the Chargers and Jarrett Stidham took his place in this game.
One might think that Sean Payton has a vendetta against Russell Wilson, but according to him, things can’t be further away from the truth. After a 16-9 win against the Chargers, the HC came out in the presser and addressed the media. Despite Russell Wilson being fantastic this week, some things are out of Payton’s hands, or at least that’s what he projected.

The reporter brought up what Russell Wilson said in the previous presser about being threatened and benched for the entire season and wanted Payton to address the situation. People are pointing out these unethical proceedings and backing Russell Wilson. Despite putting nearly identical stats to Patrick Mahomes, the Broncos decided to rush him in real life.
