As the Chiefs Kingdom continues to expand on their Super Bowl titles, their kicker, Harrison Butker, seems to be busy building his kingdom as he welcomes a new member to his family. Going back to his interview with Fox News presented, The Ingraham Angle on October 10th, the Chiefs kicker briefly announced the arrival of a new baby.
“I was able to experience my wife, now that we have three children, being able to be present with the children.” He said so while reiterating his support for Republican candidate Josh Hawley, who is fighting re-election as a senator from Missouri. Butker and Isabelle welcomed their first child, James Augustine, back in 2019.
In a now-deleted post on X, the 29-year-old wrote, “Chiefs Kingdom is happy to have you, little one! Happy birthday.” Although the couple also have a daughter who is believed to have been born the following year, their identity is yet to be known. But to congratulate the Butker family on their newborn, the Chiefs owner Clark Hunt’s wife, Tavia Hunt, shared a celebratory post on her IG story. And that wasn’t all, she even wrote a heartwarming caption, “Congrats Isabelle & Harrison Butker.”

Well, she also tagged the Chiefs kicker’s Instagram profile while adding confetti balls and prayer emojis to add an emotional touch to the post. Although Butker remains active on his social media accounts, his wife has since deactivated all her socials. In this day and age where people like to remain active on their social media to stay in touch with the world, why do Isabelle and Butker maintain a low profile on their accounts? And the answer to that could stem from Butker’s controversial stance on women.
What are Harrison Butker’s beliefs?

Butker had the internet talking when he gave his controversial commencement speech during Benedictine College’s graduation ceremony. His speech detailed how his wife feels blessed to be a ‘Homemaker.’ He said, “I can tell you that my beautiful wife, Isabelle, would be the first to say her life truly started when she started living her vocation as a wife and as a mother. She would convert to the faith, become my wife, and embrace one of the most important titles of all: Homemaker.”
While expressing his thoughts about Isabelle accepting her Homemaker title, he also added how she doesn’t regret building her career, “Isabelle’s dream of having a career might not have come true, but if you ask her today if she has any regrets on her decision, she would laugh out loud without hesitation, and say, Hey, no.” But since Butker’s comments on women accepting their role as mother and wife, the NFL and Kansas City Chiefs have distanced themselves from the controversy.

What’s your perspective on:
Does Harrison Butker's view on traditional roles clash with the progressive values of Kansas City?
Have an interesting take?
Former Kansas City commissioner Justice Horn threw Butker under the bus, saying, “Harrison Butker doesn’t represent Kansas City nor has he ever. Kansas City has always been a place that welcomes, affirms, and embraces our LGBTQ+ community members.” Even Travis Kelce gave his thoughts on the controversy that ran wild in Kansas City, “I can’t say I agree with the majority of it or just about any of it outside of just him loving his family and his kids. And I don’t think that I should judge him by his views, especially his religious views, of how to about life: that’s just not who I am.”
Apart from the beliefs Butker represents in his life, he would surely be over the moon when welcoming his third child to the family. As we progress through the season, we hope that his happiness will be reflected in his performances on the gridiron. With the Chiefs aiming for a 3-peat this season, they would surely want those field goals to go in every week.
