‘No doubt that Aaron Rodgers should move on from his NFL career.’ If you are thinking the same way, you’re probably on the majority side of what people currently think about Aaron Rodgers. After two consecutive bad seasons with the New York Jets, fans and experts have been debating whether the 42-year-old should retire. And since Aaron Glenn has taken charge of the organization as a head coach, things are really getting tight. One of the Pro Football Hall of Famers has expressed his emotions. And wait we are not talking only about Rodgers but the Eagles star Saquon Barkley as well.
Marshall Faulk, the HoFer, was on The Rich Eisen Show. When asked about Saquon Barkley, Faulk couldn’t hold back. Talking about the Eagles QB, Faulk said, “I don’t know what it is, Rich. And I’m not taking a shot at anybody. But there’s something that the Jets and the Giants do to people. When you play there, there’s something that happens.” And Rich Eisen was laughing out loud, hilariously. “What happens, Marsh?” the host also asked him.
Marshall Faulk replied with a quirk, “Even for Aaron Rodgers to go to New York and look the way he looked. Oh my God. This something’s going on rich.” Rich Eisen also responded to that, analyzing that the Giants refused Saquon Barkley and his demand for the contract. The Superstar running back played six seasons with the Giants. But after parting ways with them he landed in Philadelphia as a three-year free agent. But both Marshall Faulk and Rich Eisen agreed how phenomenal Barkley has been playing since leaving the Giants after six years.

And this isn’t the first time it has happened. You must have seen Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy. He exchanged words with the Bills after helping the Chiefs win the championship round. Likewise, you may remember DeAndre Hopkins doing a Remember the Titans celebration after scoring a touchdown against the Titans—the team that traded him.
Both podcasters didn’t hesitate to call Saquon Barkley a generation star. The Hall of Famer has sent a strong message to him, praising the star RB ahead of the Super Bowl. Wanna know what Marshall Faulk said? Let’s dive in!

Pro Football Hall of Fame Marshall’s message for Saquon Barkley
Faulk, first of all, praised Barkley, when Rich Eisen asked him, “When you look at Saquon Barkley run the football, you think what?” The Hall of Famer said, “He is amazing, impactful. And listen, just like when he came out of college generational talent. You know. And after year one, still a generational talent.” The Eagles running back has a different kind of fear in the opponent’s defense.

Interesting—Saquon is the first NFL running back to record over five 60+ yard touchdowns in a single season. But while praising the Eagles’ RB, Marshall also sent him a Super Bowl message. “You try to play like a normal game. But you have to remember- this is the biggest game in your life.” Marshall continued, “You only get one crack at it. Try to have fun in a very uncomfortable space. That’s what you trynna do, literally!” That’s one advice Barkley could use.
