“Guy Was Steamrolling”: Jackson Mahomes’ Disappointment Back in Limelight After Taylor Swift Incident

Jackson Mahomes’ sexual assault hearing is delayed again. He was charged with three counts of sexual battery in May 2023, when he allegedly forcefully kissed the owner of a restaurant in Kansas City. Initially, the preliminary hearing was scheduled for August 24, which was later postponed to October 24 following the Judge’s diagnosis of Covid-19. 

The hearing has been rescheduled to January 3, 2024. However, with all the frenzy around Mahomes’ hearing, Taylor Swift fans were outraged when Swift and Jackson Mahomes were spotted in a single frame. And amid that outrage, Mahomes’ old deeds are gaining the limelight, adding to the storm of outrage.

The Black and White Sports YouTube channel shared a video highlighting Jackson Mahomes’ past, which was concerning for NFL enthusiasts. One of the instances the host covered was when Jackson Mahomes danced on the late Washington Redskins safety Sean Taylor’s memorial logo.

The Washington football team decided to honor the legacy of their 24-year-old safety, who was shot dead by intruders at his place in 2007. Highlighting the Mahomes incident, the host of a YouTube video said, “The guy (Sean Taylor) was steamrolling toward probably becoming an NFL Hall of Famer at some point. The Washington Redskins decided to do a memorial in his honor when they were playing the Chiefs, Jackson Mahomes was there, and he busted a move right on top of Shawn Taylor’s Memorial.”

This incident caused outrage among the Redskins’ enthusiasts, and now the Swifties are not keeping calm. After Mahomes’ sexual battery case, the Swifties are concerned about Taylor Swift.

However, for the Sunday night game, Swift was spotted alongside Jackson Mahomes and Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes. 

Swift’s giving company to Jackson is what sparked outrage among the Swifties, who advised the singer to maintain distance from him following his sexual battery case. However, the Chiefs’ lodged their sixth victory of the season. In seven games, the Chiefs are standing strong with six wins and one defeat.
