The Kansas City Chiefs and the Buffalo Bills are facing each other again this season. Earlier, when Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen met in Week 14, the Bills took a 3-point victory over the Red Team amid a controversial call. This time, they are meeting in the divisional rounds in the playoffs, and a former Buccaneers cornerback wishes the best for Mahomes and his army.
On Monday, the Bills secured a 31-17 victory against the Steelers at Highmark Stadium, earning them a spot in the next round of the NFL playoffs on their home turf. As the AFC No. 2 seed, the Bills will host the No. 3 seed Chiefs on Sunday, who also advanced in the playoffs by defeating the Dolphins 26-7. So, who will win the crucial and historic playoff this time? Analyst Sherman joined Skip Bayless’s show to predict the Chiefs’ win for a few reasons.

In the latest episode of “UNDISPUTED,” analysts Richard Sherman, Skip Bayless, and Keyshawn Johnson predicted the potential results of the Chiefs and the Bills’ divisional game. Sherman confidently stated a few reasons and counted his vote for Patrick Mahomes and his team over Josh Allen’s squad. He started with a question, “Will Josh Allen can slay the Patrick Mahomes beast in the playoffs? I gotta go with [the] Kansas City Chiefs.” Sherman continued, “He [Allen] has beaten him in the regular season, he is 3-1 versus Parick Mahomes in a regular season, but he is 0-2 versus Patrick Mahomes in the playoffs.“
The former CB mentioned that only two players in the league have defeated Mahomes in the playoffs: Tom Brady, who beat him twice, and Joe Burrow. Sherman stated, “Nobody else has done it,” other than these two. He further named the Chiefs’ defensive line, including Travis Kelce, Rashee Rice, and others, saying, “I think they have the pieces. I just know anytime I bet against Kansas City in a game like this Patrick Mahomes goes and the game’s close at the end… everybody turns it up a notch.” Sherman concluded by saying, “Until Josh Allen shows me and proves to me… I can beat Patrick Mahomes and I can keep going, I got to go with the Kansas City Chiefs.“
Besides him, Johnson vouched for the Chiefs, stating that he believes that coach Andy Reid and players like Mahomes and Kelce know how to pull a win. Skip Bayless, whose game predictions mostly turn out to be accurate, is “inclining” this time towards Allen and his squad over the Chiefs on Saturday.
Although the juggle of who wins will continue until the Saturday game, there are some crucial points to remember ahead of this thriller.

The Bills and the Chiefs have faced each other 54 times, including five postseason games. The Bills won 29 games, while the Chiefs won 24 and tied once. This upcoming game is significant because it’s the first time since the 1993 AFC Championship that the Bills will host the Chiefs in a postseason match.
The Bills won that game with a score of 30-13, earning a spot in the Super Bowl in 2003. Besides that, since Mahomes began his playoff journey in January 2019, he has only lost three games, none of which occurred before the conference championship round.
