The Cowboys‘ general manager, Jerry Jones, has been facing flak recently over the team’s below-par performances. Veteran wide receiver Martavis Bryant has returned to the helm of things to resolve the Cowboys’ offensive struggles and give much-needed relief to Jones.
The Cowboys have won five games and lost three, but the losses raise concerns about the offensive capabilities as they were less successful in creating chances against the Eagles and the 49ers. These performances have paved the way for Bryant to make his mark felt in the NFL after a gap of five years!

Why did Bryant not play for such a long time?
Bryant started his career with the Steelers in 2014. He played his last game with the Raiders when the NFL management indefinitely suspended him after his multiple violations of the substance abuse policy. The Cowboys will celebrate his comeback as the veteran has joined the practice sessions now. The NFL has posted the news of him signing the contract on X.

The veteran wide receiver had amassed around 2,183 yards and 17 TDs in 44 appearances before he was banned. His return with the Cowboys now means they have got their hands on an exceptional and experienced wide receiver at the right time.
