While the ice covered the gridiron during the week 12 game between the Steelers and the Browns, the hearts of the players were burning for a win. Steelers WR George Pickens was one of them. He wasn’t impressed at all with the Browns after they won 24-19.
After the game, he was asked about the loss, but he remained steady on his stance and said, “Just keep grinding. Like I said, The conditions played a huge, huge part in today’s game. I don’t really think the Cleveland Browns are a good team at all. I think the conditions kind of saved them today.”

The receiver could have listened to his coach Mike Tomlin, who congratulated the Browns and blamed his O-line for not being slow. The HC also felt that the divisional rivals started applying pressure on them from the first minute. More so, Steelers QB Russell Wilson was sacked 4 times in the first half of the game.
However, George Pickens is also entitled to his opinion. The conditions played a big part too. The snow-clad environment decreased the visibility. But, the Browns played better football too.
Though he said what he felt in his heart, the fans didn’t like it. They started trolling the receiver.

The emotions came out as the Steelers were the favorite to win the game. Sitting at the top of the AFC North with an 8-3 win-loss record, they wouldn’t have thought that they would get defeated. While they are still at the top, it would be better for the team if they learned a lesson from the loss. Their playoff seat is almost secure. 6 more weeks and the picture would be clear.
