It was in response to what Penta said in the video. Regarding Kittle, he remarked humorously but truthfully, “He is my best friend now. I love him. He loves me, I think.” They met at WrestleCon. in New Orleans, at WrestleMania 34 in 2018 when Kittle had watched Penta wrestle. Penta recalled, “I had like five matches, and he came to my locker room after the match. ‘Hey Penta, I’m a player in the NFL.’ I’ve never seen NFL.” Penta traded his mask with Kittle’s jersey. And, it led to the beginning of a great friendship.

Back in 2022, when the 49ers vs. Cardinals game took place in Mexico City, Kittle wore the custom Lucha mask, that Penta had gifted him. Now that Penta has signed with WWE, he indeed hopes that his best friend, aka, Kittle will join him for the ride. The stories of Kittle’s friendship extend quite vividly from WWE to the NFL, as he recently expressed his sentiments on WR Deebo Samuel’s request for a trade.

As he enters his final year of contract, he will earn $15.8 million in 2025. However, given the team’s salary cap constraints and Brock Purdy’s upcoming contract, it’s likely that Samuel will be traded.
