No one can deny the fact that Brock Purdy has revitalized his team, the San Francisco 49ers, ever since he joined, except for a few. The quarterback not only kept the Niners’ season alive but also took the offense to new heights, reaching levels not seen since Kyle Shanahan became head coach in 2017. But how does Purdy do it all? His teammate, George Kittle revealed how!

The 49ers will next face the ‘not-so-underdog team now,’ the Detroit Lions. But before the game, George Kittle, who has also been listed under Pro Bowl nominations, appeared in the Pat McAfee show. In the latest episode of The Pat McAfee Show McAfee congratulated the 49ers TE and his team on making it into the NFC championship. When asked about his thoughts on the quarterback, Brock Purdy, George Kittle said, “Brock’s fantastic, he’s been consistent every single time, every single day I see him. He’s wonderful.

Besides this, AJ Hawk asked Kittle about his thoughts on people who praised Purdy last year and now seem to be waiting for him to fail, especially when there are some other great quarterbacks too, entering the playoffs. Kittle’s supportive response came in full throttle. He speculated that people might be tired of underdog stories or “normal person,” and prefer quarterbacks who are taller and have more dramatic highlights. Furthermore, Kittle defended Purdy, stating that he plays their team’s system perfectly.

Kittler quoted 5 reasons that make Purdy a dominant force behind the 49ers’ system. Kittle expressed, “He takes the perfect footwork, he has great arm, he has great eyesight, he doesn’t just throw check downs the entire way up and down the field, he tries to force the ball downfield to try to get the ball into the hands of Deebo Samuel and me….he does all the things that you want of a quarterback.

The 30-year-old also stated that there are many who just don’t want to see him for some reason, but he is playing “at a super high level,” without listening to any of the noise from his haters. All this hatred story started from Ryan Clark’s comments. As Kittle successfully defended his quarterback, Deebo Samuel too shielded Purdy when an ESPN analyst ripped him after his Packers’ game.

The story began when the Niners won a close 24-21 game against the Packers in the NFC divisional playoff round. Brock Purdy, despite leading a game winning drive, fell into the criticism by Ryan Clark. On ESPN’s “First Take,” Clark confessed, “….the single hardest thing I had to do this year was act like Brock Purdy deserved to be in the conversations with the other people (Patrick Mahomes, Josh Allen, and Lamar Jackson).

Clark acknowledged Purdy’s good performance but pointed out that he didn’t elevate the play of those around him like the other top quarterbacks. The criticism prompted Deebo Samuel to defend Purdy on social media. He said, “Never seen so much hate for a qb that lead the league in almost every category y’all folks be bugging frfr. That tape don’t tell no lies.

Well, that’s true! Purdy is actually on track to set an NFL record for yards per attempt (9.9) in a season. He is also on the track of becoming an MVP, giving a tough battle to Lamar Jackson. Furthermore, he has lifted his team into the playoffs where only 4 teams are battling for the Championship. All these, make him a great quarterback for sure.
