Bryce Young is back. After being sidelined for Andy Dalton, he was waiting for the comeback. He would be playing for the Panthers against the Broncos at Empower Field at Mile High. Dalton sprained his thumb in a car accident, and now, he will again have his chance to prove his worth. Advice is coming from all corners, but the best might have come from the 2 times pro-Bowl quarterback Geno Smith, who faced similar situations in his career.
The QB appeared on the Up & Adams Show where host Kay Adams asked for some advice for the young QB. Smith noted, “Thing about getting opportunities is that you don’t know when the next was gonna come so when you got your opportunity, you gotta kind of grab the bull by the horn. you got to take him and run with him.” That was a subtle warning, and he is right – Bryce Young has to perform to not get benched again.
Despite not having a great debut season in 2023, the Panthers showed belief in him. In 2023, he started all 16 games but won 2 and lost 14; this year, too, started on the same note. In the first 2 games, the signal caller couldn’t take his team to a win, however, there was an alarming situation. In 16 games last year, he had 10 interceptions, but this year, he had 3 interceptions in the first 2 games.

However, Geno Smith believes in the young quarterback. While asking him to be confident and prepared, he added, “Bryce is a player who has done so many great things in his life. He should be confident. He should be ready for this moment. Prepare as hard as you can. Once you get out on the field, trust your eyes, trust your feet and cut it loose, man.” Bryce Young needs to work on handling negative situations. According to the sources, the signal caller was shocked after getting benched for Andy Dalton. But he’s getting his chance now, so, he has to make it count now. And if we look at his recent comments, he is ready.
Bryce Young has prepared well for the comeback
The Panthers fans will keenly watch the SNF game. The first overall pick was, and still is, the future quarterback of the franchise. Though he hadn’t been able to inspire confidence with his performance, he still is their best option (until Dalton is out).

Bryce Young is also ready for the SNF matchup against the Broncos. While talking about his strategy, the QB said, “My job is always, no matter what, it would be the same level of preparation.” That’s a good sign. He has a couple of days to rethink his strategies with the offense. Head coach Dave Canales has always shown belief in the quarterback, but the task of revival is mammoth.
