If you’ve turned on your screens a bit late, surely you’d be in a shock for a while to see the New York Jets are leading. But as the season defines them, they cared pretty well about our shock and the result is in front of us. With 4-11, it’s atrocious to ask where will the Jets go now, right? Well, even after scoring a TD in the first quarter, Aaron Rodgers‘ Jets still didn’t get past 9 points. And the Rams did the rest of the work.

And when you’re gonna look at today’s game, you’re going to find a bunch of issues with the Jets. Starting with Garrett Wilson, who seems pretty frustrated with the way the team has played. When asked why he wasn’t more involved until late in the game, he stated, “I would love to be involved, love to make an impact on the game but if people see it differently, then that’s out of my control. Just try and do what I can do.”

Rodgers targeted Wilson only just three times, which gets more dramatic looking at the way Wilson has performed so far. The wideout had started all 14 games he played, put up over 900 receiving yards, and racked up 6 touchdowns. That said, no wonder the wideout was disappointed as the results didn’t favor the Jets.

On the other hand, Devante Adams led a pretty good start for the Jets as he racked up a receiving TD from the QB. But as it turns out, that didn’t get the job done and now the Jets are far from getting a safe landing.

When asked if the weather affected the Jets today, Adams responded, “It looked like a normal game. It just looked a little too normal for what we’ve put on tape this year.” Well, no one knows of the weather, but with constant losses this season, it surely sounds normal for the Jets.

Are the Jets doomed with Rodgers, or is there hope for a turnaround this season?

When the game kicked off, it appeared Rodgers and Adams came prepared from Week 15 clash against the Jacksonville team. The QB has put up pretty 256 yards and even scored the 499th TD of his career after finding Adams for an 11-yard score. But at the end of the day, it was all that he could do. On the other hand, the running back made it to the end zone, but the Jets missed an extra point.

However, it was Wilson that grabbed the spotlight. And this time, staying away from the action until the offensive’s last shot. And when the interim head coach was asked of the reason, he stated, “We’ll see.” Well, it seems the HC is not aware that the Jets are already near the end of this miserable season. Hope someone can remind him.

That said, the New York Jets are already done for the season and the Rams are in contention of the NFC West title. As for Aaron Rodgers, it’s the kind of season he wants to erase from his career. As per the contract terms, he still has a season left with the Jets. But truth be told, the veteran QB is considered a long shot for a return in 2025.
