“It’s gonna go your way,” Jason Kelce assured his brother Travis Kelce during their New Heights podcast, but not without a nod to the frustrating reality on-field. While the Kelce brothers are known for keeping it light, Jason couldn’t hide his concern as he watched Travis battle through a season where the usual highlight-reel plays just weren’t materializing. Something was off, and the big brother was all ears.

Let’s get real—Chiefs fans have been splitting with questions about their offense this season, and the former Philadelphia center wasn’t shy about addressing the elephant in the room. “Fans are asking what’s going on with the Chiefs offense. Pat and coach Reid were asked about Big Yeti,” Jason remarked, referring to the Chiefs’ TE with his iconic nickname. It’s no secret that when plays are called for Travis, defenses have been doubling down, sending two or three defenders his way. “We’re calling plays for Travis and it’s like 2 or 3 people are going to him. People are really emphasizing trying to take him away,” Jason added, clearly irked by how the game’s been unfolding.

But while the Super Bowl LII champ felt the frustration, Travis played it cool. “It’s football, baby.” In typical Kelce fashion, the 34-year-old brushed off the lack of targets like it was no big deal. “Like, c’mon now! I’m not getting caught up in getting the targets and all that. I just wanna have a successful offense,” Travis said, showing his trademark resilience. He praised Mahomes for finding the open man, even if it wasn’t always him. “I think Pat’s doing a great job and making the right decisions. It’s a new offense, new players, new pieces, and we’re just finding how to have success throughout the season,” the nine-time Pro Bowl TE explained, keeping his focus on the bigger picture.

The numbers don’t lie, though. With fewer targets and lower yardage compared to his usual jaw-dropping stats, it’s clear Travis Kelce ain’t getting the same spotlight he’s used to. But don’t get it twisted—Travis is far from worried. “I’ve had a lot of catches in this league, man. I’m not worried about the catches and the yards and all that,” he quipped, though he couldn’t resist admitting, “I have the most fun when I get the ball thrown my way… I mean, who doesn’t? It has everything to do with execution. Just making sure we’re doing whatever we can to win these football games. That’s always gonna be the goal.”

Jason, ever the supportive older brother, didn’t hold back his thoughts. “It’s frustrating for me to watch and have to listen to, but I just can’t wait for it to turn,” the ex-Eagles center confessed. But even with the hurdles, the three-time Super Bowl champ remained unshaken. “Appreciate it, brother. But even if it doesn’t, as long as we’re winning football games, we’re good to go, baby!” With Kansas City still pulling off wins despite these struggles, Travis Kelce’s mindset’s all about the team, not just the stats.

Ultimately, Jason’s frustration and Travis’ laid-back vibe highlight two brothers steering through the rollercoaster of an NFL season with humor and honesty. Chiefs’ fans, get ready—when the tight end finally breaks loose, it’ll be special. Speaking of special, Travis’ acting debut’s stirring up some serious buzz!

Travis Kelce’s acting debut leaves Jason wondering about his role

The star TE’s stepping into the world of acting with his latest project, Grotesquerie, and fans are all-in on his new role. But there’s one person who’s a little uneasy—his big bro, Jason Kelce.

On their popular New Heights podcast, the former Eagles standout asked the burning question all fans are dying to know: “Are you the bad guy? Are you? Are you the killer?” In classic laid-back Kelce style, Travis kept things under wraps. “Yeah, you’re gonna have to watch, Jason. Make sure you have the girls watch this. They’re gonna love this show.”

But while the trailer’s got people on edge, Jason’s concern’s more parental than anything. He admitted being hesitant about letting his three young daughters watch their uncle’s dark new show. “Kylie will murder me. I am gonna have the girls and then in the moment… is there like a warning or is there a lot of surprises?”

Travis Kelce’s acting debut in Grotesquerie certainly adds another layer to his multifaceted career. Whether he’s playing the bad guy or not, one thing’s for sure—he knows how to keep fans, and his bro, on their toes.
