Talk about managing your personal and professional life like a pro, and Fox sportscaster Erin Andrews might give you a few tips on how to do that. From acing her on-screen life as a sports presenter to making sure she spends time with her family and little one, she’s doing it like a pro. Truly a ‘wonder woman.’ Recently, Erin shared an incident with her bestie and fellow Fox colleague, Charissa Thompson, on their ‘Calm Down‘ podcast. The situation had her personal and professional life mixed up for a brief moment.

Erin was on NFL duty, interviewing the Eagles’ offensive line in Week 15 when they faced Russell Wilson‘s Steelers. Then an urgent update popped up for the Fox sportscaster that needed her immediate attention. It was, her one-year-old boy Jack, who was having a ‘rash’ issue that got pretty bad that day. Following this, she had to get her family doctor, her husband, and her nanny on a text chain to help him out. Talking to Charissa on the ‘Calm Down Podcast,’ she said ” The rash got pretty much all over his front and backside, and it’s very painful. I texted our doctor, who we love, and I was like, hey, Jarret’s home, but I’m on the field right now. Can you help me out? Can we get something prescribed?”

This was all happening while the former ESPN presenter was on the sidelines with the Eagles’ PR team. But hey, when it’s your young kid that needs your attention, you’ve got to be there. Luckily, Erin was on a short break at that time. “I’m doing my thing. I’m standing with the Eagles PR. I’m standing with the offensive line. We’re in a break. I’m good. My sideline’s taken care of.”

Erin Andrews got back to work right after. But the whole situation at home led her to apologize for something that popped up on her phone while she was surrounded by Eagles players and the FOX crew.

You can never be off mom duties. And that’s exactly what happened with Erin Andrews. While she was texting her doctor about her little one’s rash situation, the doctor asked for pictures. Andrews, whose attention was divided between home and work, didn’t see the text. The next thing she knows, she opens her phone, boom, the pictures are right there on her screen. ” I open up my phone. I’m like, whoa. We get frontal and back all in one with the rash, and I’m looking around to see if anyone saw it. Like, inappropriate on my phone. Like, it wasn’t, but it’s literally them holding back. Full view.” While sharing the story on the podcast, it had both Erin and Charissa laughing.

Erin knew it was her baby’s pictures, but the people around had no clue. She was worried they might think it was something ‘inappropriate.’ Erin posted a clip from the podcast where she’s explaining the whole story and captioned it, ” Apologies to anyone who might have seen that 🫣.” While the sportscaster brushed it off with laughs, we can understand how tough it must be at times to juggle things at home along with your job. And since Erin Andrews has been in the media business for so long, she knows exactly how to handle these situations with grace.
