And just like that, the NFL 2024 season is wrapped up. The Eagles are celebrating their dominating triumph over the back-to-back reigning champions. And why wouldn’t they? Not only did they crush the Chiefs‘ three-peat dream, but they eventually avenged the Super Bowl LVII loss on Sunday. And just like the Eagles and the Chiefs, it’s a wrap for another season for Fox reporters: Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson.
But don’t think these two are slowing down anytime soon. Andrews and Thomson are back with a brand new episode of the Calm Down podcast, and after wrapping up the season’s final showdown, the Fox duo is spilling the tea on their coworkers like never before. The kicker? Well, they didn’t just talk about their coworkers, they advised how to deal with sh**ty coworkers at work. And let’s be real: that’s a much-needed advice from the veteran reporters, right?
While talking to Thomson, when one anonymous user asked, “How do you deal with a sh**ty coworker,” Andrews and Thompson couldn’t help but burst into laughter. You see, Andrews has been in the broadcasting world for over two decades now. And sure, she might have dealt with some workers who were probably rude to her. But she has her own way of dealing with those issues. “I can’t really function unless I tell you how I feel or we air this thing out. So that’s my advice, would be nice,” she stated.

Honestly, that’s the basic thing one can do. Whether you like your coworkers or can’t stand them, you still have to work together, right? And that’s what Erin Andrews believe. Correction: not just Andrews, but her co-host and best friend Charissa Thompson believes the same as well.
Alright, now let’s see what Thompson has to say about dealing with those less-than-ideal coworkers. “you can be mature and just show up and smile. Stay in your lane. Do your job and avoid that person if you can. Now, if you can’t, you have to work together in some capacity. Just grin and Barret or you can just go, which is my new motto,” Thompson said. “Straight to the source and go, ‘Look, you don’t like me, I don’t like you, but we have to work together, so let’s just make the most of it.'”
That’s Erin and Charissa for you—somehow juggling the chaos of not-so-ideal coworkers while keeping NFL fans hooked with their high-energy broadcasts.
Michael Strahan and Rob Gronkowski react to Eagles’ win
There’s also talk about sheer dominance of the Eagles after their win over the Chiefs. On the other hand, there’s talk about the worst performance by a QB or a team in a Super Bowl about Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. The birds finally got their revenge. But here’s where it gets more interesting.
Michael Strahan and Rob Gronokowski have some pretty solid opinions on the Eagles’ dominance, and let’s just say, they didn’t hold back. Strahan started with crediting the Eagles’ GM for the success, “I mean, Howie Roseman has done an incredible job. You got to play the game and get the MVP. But I will tell you this, it was dominant. It was just a dismantling offensively and defensively, a complete team effort. Just totally dismantled the Kansas City Chiefs.”

Honestly, every single word is true. Roseman brought in a new offensive coordinator, Kellen Moore, and a new defensive coordinator, Vic Fangio, last offseason—and guess what? Both coaches proved that his picks were spot on. The Eagles caught two interceptions (one of them turned into a pick six) and sacked Patrick Mahomes a record 6 times. And the offense?

Well, let’s start with the Super Bowl MVP, Jalen Hurts. The Super Bowl champ was absolutely a dual-threat: he completed 17 of his 22 passes for 221 yards, two touchdowns and one interception with a 119.7 quarterback rating. And Barkley? Let’s just say he handled the rest like he did the whole season.

Now, let’s see what Gronk has to say. “It was like the same blueprint that we had when we beat them in the Super Bowl when I was on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Rush 4, put all the pressure on Patrick Mahomes, let them scramble around, get frustrated and then throw interceptions.” Is that it? I mean, did Gronk just reveal the cheat code of how to get rid of Mahomes in crucial games?
It looks like he did. Because that’s what the Bucs did when they played against the Chiefs in the Super Bowl. They put pressure on the QB constantly without needing to blitz. By rushing just four players, the Bucs’ kept Mahomes on move, making it difficult for him to find the receivers. The result? He ended up throwing interceptions. And that’s exactly what the Eagles did on Sunday.
