Charissa Thompson, that famous sportscaster, has some great career advice! And, it is leaving a deep impact on her fans, who resonate with her and want to carry on with a similar maneuver. Thompson, who co-hosts the Calm Down podcast with Erin Andrews, recently opened up about the dynamics of her career. And, this comes after she candidly discussed an embarrassing dancing incident at Swift’s Eras Tour concert.

Taking to the Instagram account, Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce, the host Kylie posted a segment of the interview clip with Charissa. And, in this particular section, the FOX reporter shares her personal anecdotes and learning from her career. She muses that it was the impact of kindness, or lack thereof, particularly from unkind women that shaped her journey.

Charissa adds, “It was the women that were not nice to me that left the biggest mark because then I’m like, oh, I don’t want to be that.” In particular, she recalled how a couple behaved that way, and prompted her to act differently.

Owing to this, she decided that she would take a different route and help any young woman who wanted to enter the field. She further continued, “The young woman that reaches out to me on Instagram and says, hey, I want to do what you do one day. Can you help me? My answer is always yes. Of course, I can help you.”

The sportscaster highlighted the importance of the awareness regarding that one needs to pass the baton someday. She continues, “My goal is that when that next person gets this opportunity, they can look back and have an answer to your question, which is she helped me…” The environment should be of mutual success instead of competition among the women. The ultimate understanding is that there’s room for everyone.

Indeed Charissa and former Eagles center Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie had a moment of bonding amidst this understanding, while also separately recalling an amusing moment when Charissa had an embarrassing moment with Scott Swift, Taylor Swift’s father.

On the Not Gonna Lie podcast, Charissa shared her experience attending Swift’s Eras Tour with Kylie Kelce back in June. It was the first night, wherein Swift was performing at  Wembley Stadium.

Kelce addresses Charissa as she humorously recalls, “I will never not be able to see you dropping it like it’s hot while Mr. Swift was coming into the tent. And you turning around and having just a look of shock,” as highlighted in USA Today’s December 20 article. Kylie further added how shocked and humiliated Charissa was as she bumped into Mr. Swift.

Charissa had no regrets about the concert, saying, “If you don’t want me to enjoy a Taylor Swift concert, don’t take me!” Indeed she had an incredible experience, and the fun of it all overshadows the embarrassing memory of the encounter with Taylor Swift’s father.
