Approved! After months of minority ownership talks with the league and the Las Vegas Raiders, Tom Brady finally got what he wanted. The seven-time Super Bowl champ joined the ranks of the NFL owners, as according to the Associated Press, TB12’s “5% ownership stake in the franchise was approved Tuesday at a meeting of NFL owners in Atlanta.” Now that sounds like an interesting move in Tom Brady’s career. However, let’s not forget that with every big responsibility comes great challenges. Same is the case with Brady who is forced to keep mum by the league after this achievement.
So, what happened is, after Tom Brady got his minority ownership, his NFL day-to-day broadcasting will now be affected. And it’s not related to the time actually, it’s related to some rules which he now needs to follow. According to Bleacher Report on X, Brady’s restrictions will now be: “Not permitted to be in another team’s facility; Not permitted to witness practice; Not permitted to attend broadcast production meetings, either in person or virtually; Prohibited from publicly criticizing game officials and other clubs; Subject to the NFL’s gambling policy; and Subject to the NFL’S anti-tampering policy.”
Hence, with all these restrictions, Tom Brady will be coming in to broadcast for the NFL games as part of FOX caller in his first season. In addition to that, he will also continue to do commentary for the Raiders as well. But to the people who are still awaiting him to return as a player; that will not be allowed now, unless he sells his ownership.

So, all in all, it’s a tough challenge for Tom Brady. But he is pretty sure that he will be able to pull out everything smoothly, as he is “eager to contribute to the organization in any way” he can. Now this purchase agreement with the Raiders, is the second-time partnership of TB12 with owner Mark Davis. Earlier in March 2023, Brady announced that he has partnered with Davis to acquire an ownership stake in the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces.
As everyone, including Roger Goodell and Tom Brady are happy with this approval, the former QB’s friend, Rob Gronkowski too is excited for his success.
Rob Gronkowski said Tom Brady is not a regular guy?
At the start of the season in September, Tom Brady kicked off his new broadcasting gig with the NFL on Fox. However, his nervousness was clearly visible at the first breakdown, which critics thought he just “s–ked it up.” But to support him and also praise the new beginnings of Brady, his friend, Rob Gronkowski on a latest episode of Dudes On Dudes said, “Tom Brady obviously, following the squirrel’s footsteps and the great Grand’s footsteps. He always wanted to be like us, he always did…..he’s not a regular guy; he’s too big-time to be a regular guy.”

In addition to this, Gronk also praised his commentary skills, and wished “Tom Brady to be the best commentator of all time.” Reflecting on the critics’ comments, the former tight end highlighted, “And you want to know what makes Tom Brady the best of all time? It’s when people doubt him. So, Tom, you s–k, bro. You s–k, man…..He was really good, very knowledgeable. We were lucky enough to be around the most knowledgeable coach of all time and the most knowledgeable player of all time.”
So, although haters showed their dislikes for Brady’s breakdown on FOX for the NFL games, his friend is proud of him, and wants to see him the best at the place.
