The Patriots continue to navigate in a post-Brady ocean, yet to find a place to drop their anchor. And without the support of his greatest QB, Bill Belichick has never been the same. The ship has been sinking since 2020, and the time we brace for the last of the legendary head coach has probably arrived.
The Patriots (4-12) will take on the Jets (6-10) in their next game. The game holds no real significance in the playoff contention, but it’s highly important for two entities from the 6x Super Bowl-winning side. One is QB Mac Jones, and the other is the head coach himself.

About a year ago, Bill Belichick infamously praised Mac Jones, saying he had the ability to play as a quarterback in the league. But one year has passed, and it’s better not to stir the muddy water. The latter is set to end the season as a starting QB for the side, landing Jones’ future with the franchise in uncertainty.
One journalist pointed out the incident to the HC, who was adamant about sharing a changed perception of the QB. “I’ll hold off on any evaluations on anybody.
