Can Aaron Rodgers still lead the Jets to victory, or is it time for a new strategy?

Week 6 ended with another loss for the New York Jets. Now, as per current NFL standings, Aaron Rodgers’ team is 2-4 in the 2024 series. However, the interesting part here is, that just a couple of days ago, coach Robert Saleh was fired and Nathaniel Hackett was demoted, with the purpose of winning in further games. But it seems the toll is still continuing for the NY team.

Hence, it’s obvious for the Jets’ new coach to get frustrated as after getting a new role, the team again lost to the Bills on Monday with just 3 points. Therefore, in a recent post-game presser, the Jets’ new head coach, Jeff Ulbrich said, “We need to find a way to get it done…..We have to fix it and fix it fast.” According to NFL reporter, Connor Hughes, “#Jets HC Jeff Ulbrich (said these) on the offense coming up empty on last three opportunities for game-winning drives.”

However, that doesn’t mean he isn’t happy at all. Ulbrich also made sure to shout out for the offense, by saying, “Offensively, I thought much better in the run game, I was proud of the way that they responded from the last couple of weeks.” But he made sure to send Rodgers a clear message that “Whatever it is….fix it fast.”

Now, it remains to be seen what fix the team brings in with themselves. Until then, the head coach appeared fine with the team, as ultimately he wants a win. But this time, the Jets lost 20-23 after giving a close matchup to the Bills.

Besides all these, Jeff Ulbrich is still proud of Aaron Rodgers’ decent game in Week 6, and still agrees with what Robert Saleh predicted after his firing.

Aaron Rodgers is struggling to make a playoff entry!

The last time the Jets entered the playoffs was in 2010. And now it has been 14-years since the NY fans have seen their team making it through the playoffs. But with Aaron Rodgers in the team this year, all hopes are still alive, and that’s what Robert Saleh feels too. After his firing, Saleh predicted that despite his exit, the Jets are going to make it through the playoffs as the team is capable enough to do it. Similarly, the new head coach, Jeff Ulbrich, feels the same, as he mentioned after Monday’s loss, “We are by no means out of this thing.

Hence, he clearly mentioned that the team still has the chance to do the magic, as he is proud of what Aaron Rodgers showed in the Week 6 game. While speaking to the media, Ulbrich expressed, “I thought he [Aaron Rodgers] did a great job. I thought the Buffalo Bills’ defense is excellent in a lot of ways, and especially from their coverage standpoint and they’re very well coached and they’re difficult to score points on and I thought he did a very nice job of taking what they gave him and making him pay at times. But we got to get better, we do.

Aaron Rodgers, via USA Today, “completed 23-of-35 passes for 294 yards with two touchdowns, but had a crucial interception late in the 23-20 loss.” Hence, Ulbrich thinks Aaron Rodgers, with his decent game, can lead his team to the playoffs. But hope doesn’t bring wins; winning games does.
