Jalen Ramsey and Charles Omenihu are furious—Do you agree with their stance on Tyreek Hill's arrest?

Trouble for the Miami Dolphins’ star WR? The Dolphins were going to face off against the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 8, 2024. However, before the game, an unfortunate and unexpected incident happened outside the Hard Rock Stadium. On Sunday morning, Tyreek Hill was stopped by a police officer for allegedly speeding and reckless driving.

This incident has put the NFL world into a blaze, who are showing their anguish for that police officer who handcuffed Hill and “placed him face down on a street outside the team’s stadium.” Now the body cam footage of Tyreek Hill has been released and it’s going viral. Sharing this, from the NFL community Charles Omenihu commented on the incident writing, “HE-L NAH !! Fire the a–s this is crazy !!

In the video, Hill can be seen explaining himself to the three police officers who were arresting him. In fact, the wide receiver even cried and pleaded with them when they threatened to arrest him and break his car window. Some fans, who were on their way to see the game, stopped to help Hill. However, they were also yelled at and questioned by the officers. Because of this, it was difficult for any of the fans to get close to Hill, and even the Cheetah himself asked them, “Don’t move, bro,” given the situation.

This video has fumed many, and among those one of the NFL personalities is Emmanuel Acho, who wrote, “The Tyreek Hill body cam footage of his detainment has been released, and those police officers are disgusting. If the footage doesn’t make you livid, you need to check your pulse.” Acho also shared a video in which he could be seen explaining the incident and heavily criticizing the police officers.

Besides Acho, Jalen Ramsey also commented on social media by saying, “FIRE EM IMMEDIATELY! M-s like them can’t have no type of power, they gotta go!” Even Dolphins safety Jevon Holland said, “Excessive force on a Black man, that’s not uncommon. It’s a very common thing in America. So I think that needs to be addressed at a countrywide level.

Not only them, but even coach Mike McDaniel appeared to fight back tears while recalling the incident, by saying, “It’s probably more visceral because, yes, I do spend a lot of time prioritizing empathy, and when you know you can’t truly understand, the unknown is what crushes me. I can only forecast, and so my forecast — what if it’s worse?

Nevertheless, Tyreek Hill’s agent has slammed the police treatment as well as the athlete’s lawyers have mulled legal action against them.

Police officers reveal their side of the story, state Tyreek Hill was not cooperating

The heartbreaking incident of Sunday has left the NFL world in anguish and upset. Tyreek Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, in an interview, said that he was in “disbelief” after seeing the incident. He expressed, “Tyreek was just trying to get to work, trying to play a game, just trying to do his job. For police officers to detain him, to put him on the ground like that, to put their knee on him, to hit him – it’s just devastating….Tyreek did not deserve to be treated that way by the police involved.” Nevertheless, he informed that now, Hill’s legal team “will be pursuing this matter on Tyreek’s behalf.”

Meanwhile, an internal investigation has been launched by the police department. The president of South Florida’s police union said that Hill was not being “immediately cooperative” with the officers involved, hence it led to his arrest. Well, the cam-footage videos are telling a different story, and even Hill admitted, “I wasn’t disrespectful because my mom didn’t raise me that way. Didn’t cuss. Didn’t do none of that. So like I said, I’m still trying to figure it out, man.

Nevertheless, Hill was released after police officers seemingly got the context of the situation. After this, the star receiver appeared in the game, leading his team to win 20-17 against the Jags, still emerging from the trauma of the earlier incident.
