Home/NFL

Christian McCaffrey’s wife Olivia Culpo suddenly found herself engulfed by some serious adversity at her home. No, not the one in San Francisco where the couple lives together during the NFL season. The one I am talking about here is in Culpo’s home state, Rhode Island. A day that started with visiting the barn ended with the fire department coming to the rescue of Culpo. So, what exactly happened?

Well, everything was going casually for Culpo, who started her day visiting her barn in Rhode Island. Her first story from the farm was about inspecting their adopted cats, which her mom apparently rescued. While she said 8 of them, Culpo only showed a few chilling inside the barn with a huge rat besides them. It’s like those rescued cats didn’t care about someone they should be hunting instead of sharing space with. Not very Tom and Jerry-esque from them. But moving on, Culpo introduced us to someone special with whom she had instantly connected.

“George is a failed barn cat. And my favorite. Even though he is instantly barking orders,” Culpo wrote in her story where George could be seen standing on top of the table, meowing orders. Well, Culpo later also pronounced George the golden cat as “the real King of the Castle.” George I, the King of Rhode Island. Quite a fitting name, right? However, Culpo’s fun at the barn didn’t last for long. After a while, she suddenly found herself surrounded by flames. “Truly never a dull moment on the farm!!!!!” she wrote as giant water hoses popped up on her Instagram story trying to contain the fire.

Looking at her first story, it felt like the fire was minimal and there was nothing to worry about. But that perception soon changed in her next update. Culpo shared a snap where basically the whole farm was on fire. Everywhere your eyes could go, there was smoke coming out. Still, Culpo wrote in her story, “Everything ended up ok.” See, of course, it didn’t look okay at all. But at least the situation was in control, thanks to none other than the fire department.

In her final update from the barn tragedy, Culpo expressed her gratitude to the firefighters, who instantly came to her rescue. “Thanks to the amazing fire department,” as her snap showed 2 firetrucks parked outside of her barn. Kudos to the South Kingstown fire department for helping Olivia Culpo in time. Who knows how bad it could have been if the firefighters had not responded to the call timely? Well, this horrific incident surrounding the fire in her hometown must have resulted in Culpo getting flashbacks to what happened in LA recently.

Olivia Culpo praises the first responders and firefighters in light of devastating LA wildfires

South California was completely reduced to ashes. Hundreds of houses in Malibu were gone in days. Basically, half of Los Angeles was burning for almost a month because of wildfires that started out of nowhere. Claiming more than hundreds of lives and leaving millions homeless, LA went through its worst natural disaster in history. So, naturally, Olivia, who also owns a house with Christian McCaffrey in LA was devastated seeing the situation. While her home in Studio City was probably saved from the wildfires, she couldn’t control her emotions seeing the widespread damage.

At that time, she wrote on her Instagram, “I’m praying so hard for our community. My heart aches for everyone who has lost so much, so fast. It’s just unimaginable. 💔.” In the same post, she expressed her gratitude to the firefighters who had risked their lives to save others. “To our heroes on the ground and in the sky, thank you for your sacrifice and service working around the clock to protect us, our homes, animals, businesses, wild life. We are forever grateful for your bravery and dedication ❤️🙏🏼.” LA’s Governor Gavin Newsom also stated how more than 1,400 firefighters were working day and night to control the fire.
