Patrick Mahomes has a request from Andy Reid—and it’s not football-related. Yeah, with the Chiefs still in the hunt for a 3-peat, Mahomes’ gridiron duties have taken a backseat for now. On Sunday, the Chiefs Kingdom welcomed their newest supporter, Golden Raye Mahomes. And with that, Mahomes’ duties as a husband and a father have tripled. But for some reason, Reid has requested something that the Chiefs QB could probably think twice before considering.

Reid—when asked to share his thoughts on Mahomes’ welcoming fatherhood for the third time. The 3-time Super Bowl-winning head coach decided to throw a challenge to his QB, “Once you have 3, 4 and 5 are easy. That’s what I told him. You made 3, add a couple more, we’ll talk.” Well, Reid might just be challenging the wrong guy here. Even before Andy’s request, Mahomes himself teased about having more babies after he said, “I’m done.”

Going back to the summer when Brittany was still pregnant, Mahomes said in a press conference, “I’m done. I’ll say that. I said three, and I’m done.” He then went on to add a couple of things to back that statement of not having kids anymore, “I always wanted to have kids young. I got to grow up in a locker room, and it made such an impact in life. We’re having our third kid now to join our family. Brittany does a great job of doing that, and we still go out and enjoy our life and let our kids see these great things.”

But in an astonishing turn of events, Mahomes may have forgotten that promise. On Tuesday, two days after welcoming his third child, he teased another kid, probably in a few years.

Patrick Mahomes isn’t done being a father yet!

Whether it’s off the field or on the field, Mahomes isn’t someone who is ever satisfied. Even after his announcement in the summer that he won’t be having any more kids, the Chiefs QB may have found it difficult to control his urges to welcome fatherhood yet again. When it was time for him to express his thoughts about having a third kid, Mahomes made it clear, “I’m good with three for right now.” But went on to contradict his own statement, “We’ll see down the line, maybe. But my goal was always three. So we’ve had three, and we’ll stick there for a while and see if we need to come back and get another one later on.”

So, don’t be surprised if you find the couple dropping another baby hint somewhere down the line. For now, they will probably focus on Bronze, Sterling, and Golden. However, that number could soon increase if Mahomes is really serious about having a 4th baby. Amid his aspirations of welcoming another child, he didn’t forget to praise Brittany for her role as a mother, “It’s been cool. I mean. I’m just supporting. Brittany crushed it. It’s been cool to welcome another baby girl in our family and see how my other kids react to her and having baby sissy and stuff like that.”
