It would seem like Rashee Rice is back on the field again. However, there is a catch. After causing a chain reaction, along with his friend Theodore Knox, the duo, after the car crash incident, gave themselves up to the authorities and are now out and practicing, but they will be paying hefty fines to the people injured in the crash.
But by the looks of it, the Kansas City Chiefs receiver is focusing on bouncing back in the next season. Rashee Rice started training with David Robinson, a renowned WR coach who helped more than 50 receivers get drafted in the league. A recent Instagram video shows exactly what is going on in Rice’s life.

Strictly Football and David Robinson posted a video showing Rashee Rice working hard at practice. The video was captioned, “NFL training sessions are DIFFERENT! #strictlyfootball @strictlyleighton,” and shows Rice doing an obstacle challenge and running routes, trying to be better in the off-season. He was seen with the Steelers’ WR Keilahn Harris and the Lions’ Reece Fountain as well.

Rice was doing footwork exercises, cutting in and out, and overall improving his footwork ahead of the 2024 season. An interesting thing that this video pointed out is the fact that David Robinson is responsible for training 11 first-round picks. His workout session with Rice is looking as smooth as ever, and Rice seems refreshingly quick. He is also responsible for a total of 59 WRs that he helped get drafted in the league.
But that is to be expected after the Chiefs WR was let off the hook and has a newfound appreciation for what he does. However, he still must pay for reparations. A report from “WATE 6 On Your Side” reveals the status of Rice and Knox’s case.

The receiver still has a setback to deal with
Per the report, it was pointed out that two plaintiffs, Irina Gromova, and Edvard Petrovskiy, are seeking $1 million in relief for injuries including “trauma to the brain, lacerations to the face requiring stitches, multiple contusions about the body, disfigurement, internal bleeding, and other internal and external injuries that may only be fully revealed over the course of medical treatment.”
But that’s not all; the victims are also seeking punitive damages “in the amount not less than ten million dollars.” Both athletes are facing 8 counts of charges: one aggravated assault, one count of collision involving serious bodily injury, and six counts of collision causing injury.

The document submitted by the plaintiffs in court said, “Despite his physical abilities and responsibilities as a public figure, Rice raced a high-powered vehicle through the public roads of Dallas County, Texas, lost control, and injured several innocent people including the Plaintiffs in this cause.”
As for Theodore Knox, he was suspended from SMU, and his attorney, Deandra Grant, said that he is cooperating with the authorities. This is a developing story, and we will look into details as more information emerges.
