Talking about Adams, a surprising turn of events took place when the Las Vegas Raiders’ WR shared a health problem with his viewers in the doc series. This is a disorder which around 42.75 million Americans also face. But what is it?

Davante Adams revealed why he can’t take an MRI!

In one of the episodes of Netflix’s “Receiver,” Davante Adams revealed that he has a disorder – Claustrophobia. While taking a head massage from his therapist, Cecily Broadhead, Adams said, “I told you about the MRI situation. I’m claustrophobic.” His therapist tried to calm him saying, “You know, I have a couple clients that won’t even do one because of that same reason.”

To which, Adams replied, “I mean, I almost left. I thought about– When I went to the bathroom, I thought about just, like, escaping.” In the video, Broadhead further asked him if he did it [the MRI]. Adams responded that he did it but the last five minutes felt like 35 minutes to him, and he panicked the whole time.

Adams is not alone in this disorder, as according to the research, among the 341 million American population, about 12.5% of people have claustrophobia, which sums up to 42.75 million Americans.

Nonetheless, if claustrophobia and MRI gives him fear, there is one thing that gives him happiness.

In episode 5, fans can easily see the love of Davante Adams. And no, we are not talking about his wife this time. It’s his fondness for Taco Bell, which he especially enjoys as his perk of being an endorser of the popular fast food chain. During the Raiders’ Bye Week, Adams visited Taco Bell’s headquarters and got to try out new and unreleased menu items. He described the experience, while mentioning he waits for his Cheat Day due to this.

Adams mentioned his food chain experience akin to visiting Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, highlighting the creativity and innovation in Taco Bell’s kitchen. The Raiders’ pass catcher added that if Taco Bell’s chefs are scientists, he would love to work as a tester for them. He confessed, “[It] might be one of my favorite parts of the season.”
