Hold on to your seats, folks! Because week 16 of the current NFL season is bringing to you a big divisional battle between the Ravens and the Steelers. Here’s the picture till now: Russell Wilson and Co. are leading the AFC North with a 10-3 record. Lamar Jackson and his squad are right behind them with nine wins. While the Ravens are looking to take the team one step further with another win, the Steelers would want to lock down the AFC North. It feels like the league is heating up in this cold month. With so much on the line, it’s going to be an action-packed thriller for fans.
You know there’s this saying, ‘Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.’ Both the Ravens and Steelers live by this. Steelers star DE Cameron Heyward knows what they’re getting themselves into. After all, the Ravens QB’s recent six TDs have sent shockwaves through the league. But Heyward’s not the only one who’s well aware of the Ravens’ play. Lamar Jackson’s former teammate, Patrick Queen, knows the team inside out. (You know he played with the team for four years). And he recently dropped an interesting tidbit about Lamar Jackson’s playing attitude. ” I think he says f**k it and just plays football and just go out there and make plays.”

Lamar Jackson and Patrick Queen played together for four years. And when you spend that much time with someone, you’re going to get a feel for their moves. “Anytime he can make a play, he will try and make that play”, added the Steelers LB. He also said that when everything is on the line, the Ravens QB doesn’t hold back. Well, it seems like Queen might give his team some tips on how to stop Lamar in the upcoming game. But Lamar isn’t the only one they need to be careful about. As Patrick Queen believes he’s in for a lot of ‘boos’ on Baltimore’s home turf.

Did Lamar Jackson’s ex-teammate ditch the Ravens?
As Lamar Jackson and the Ravens prepare to host their divisional foes on their home turf ‘M&T Stadium, Baltimore’, Patrick Queen isn’t exactly feeling welcome already. “I’m going to get a lot of FU’s, and boos and stuff. I wouldn’t want it any other way”, said the Steelers player. For those who don’t know, things went sour between Queen and the Ravens after the team declined his fifth-year option last year. Following that, he made a few direct remarks about the Ravens’ management, saying they didn’t want him on the team anymore. He even said that if they didn’t choose him, it would be “a blessing in disguise.” Whoa! That’s a bold statement, especially after playing with the team for four years.
But let’s be real, we all know management dramas can get pretty messy. Afterward, Queen went on to sign a three-year contract with the Steelers. Signing with a divisional rival? That was like Queen rubbing salt in the Ravens’ wounds. It will be the first time Queen will be playing on the Baltimore home ground as their rival after parting ways with them. And you know fans can be pretty brutal at times. But the Steelers’ LB doesn’t seem too bothered by it. He’s focused on the bigger picture. Patrick has made it clear that he’s moved on from his former team and all the drama that happened. “I’m over it. We clinched a playoff spot. There are bigger things to look at down the road.”

Hopefully, the fans will move on from this too, and let Patrick Queen play without all the ‘booing’ and drama. Until then, stay tuned to the NFL 2024-25 season.
