The Philadelphia Eagles suffered heartbreak towards the end of the season. They went on a losing spree and then crashed out against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Wild Card Round. However, offensive tackle Jordan Mailata in his exclusive interview with EssentiallySports made sure to back his head coach.
Mailata is Australian by birth to Samoan parents, and he impressed the NFL world based on his YouTube footage. The former rugby player is extremely proud since the National Rugby League will be starting its season in America for the first time!

Mailata in his exclusive interview with Essentially Sports detailed about his fandom for the 42-year-old head coach. “Sirianni is great I’m a huge fan of coach Sirianni”, said Mailata to Ananth. Further, he also understands the tribulations with the top job at the Eagles.
Last season, the Eagles were on fire, and narrowly lost out the Super Bowl against the Chiefs. This season started in a similar style. With the Eagles going on two 5-game winning streak. However, that was followed by losing 6 games in their last seven.
“Everybody looks to the head coach! When things go bad and when things go good. So, you know it’s a responsibility that falls on the crown and right now he’s (Sirianni) wearing the crown”, said Mailata. But with the offseason rolling around, the OT is especially excited for Rugby’s introduction to the American masses. And the NRL is heading to a familiar location as well!
