Patrick Queen won’t let that slide, Ro! The Ravens had to take a tough loss at the hands of the Bills yesterday. In a game that had everyone glued to their seats, John Harbaugh‘s team failed to deliver, thanks to the Bills’ solid defense. And for the Ravens, the dream once again ends there. One more year without those Super Bowl rings. Forget the Super Bowl; not even the conference championship title. The Steelers have got to be the happiest team right now. After all, the Ravens dethroned from their first spot and kicked them out of the race. As Lamar Jackson and Co. face the bitter 2-point loss, their ex-teammate has a message for Roquan Smith.
Just to clear things up, we’re talking about ex-Ravens player Patrick Queen here. When Queen and the Ravens faced off this season, it was always intense. But after the Ravens’ journey ended last week, Roquan Smith couldn’t help but poke fun at his former teammate, joking about Queen taking an early vacation. Fast forward to today, and that joke hasn’t aged well. Now, Queen’s got a comeback for Roquan, though it’s a little late. But hey, it’s the best he could’ve come up with. “Aww yeah Ro I saved the jet for ya,” posted Patrick on X.

Now, that’s funny and a little painful at the same time. It’s like when your friends never miss a chance to poke fun at you. Queen played with Baltimore for four years before parting ways last year. And it seems like the fans didn’t forget about him when the Steelers visited. He’s talked about getting booed on his return to Baltimore, showing how intense the rivalry can get. Classic case of fans getting carried away with their emotions, just like we saw today with the Bills Mafia booing the Ravens at Highmark Stadium.
And it’s not just us fans who get carried away with our emotions. After today’s tough loss, Lamar Jackson couldn’t hold it in during the press conference.
Lamar Jackson vents his frustration in the post-game conference
Imagine getting close to achieving your dream, and then suddenly having it slip away. Hurts, right? There can’t be a worse feeling than this. Lamar Jackson must’ve felt like his world came crashing down after today’s loss. You could see the disappointment on every Ravens player’s face. And the fans? They probably just want to forget about it for a while. Ticked off by the turnovers and fumbles from his team, Lamar said, “I tried to squeeze the ball, it slipped… out of my hand. Tonight, the turnovers, we can’t have that s—…you know? Just hold on to the f—— ball. I’m sorry for my language…but this s— annoying. I’m tired of this s—.”

You could feel the frustration in Lamar Jackson’s words. After the game, he didn’t hold back, and honestly, who could blame him? The Ravens made a series of brutal mistakes that cost them a major win. It all started with Derrick Henry, wide open with plenty of room to run, dropping a pass that would’ve kept the momentum going. Then there was the bad snap to Jackson, which led to a fumble. (Talk about things snowballing). But perhaps the most painful moments came from Mark Andrews. He first made an uncharacteristic fumble in the 4th quarter after a rare catch in the game. He followed that up by dropping a 2-point conversion attempt that would’ve tied it up in the last minutes of the game.
Even after all those brutal mistakes, the QB didn’t point fingers. He took the entire responsibility. “We didn’t do what we’re supposed to. Protecting the ball, that’s the number one priority. We didn’t do it. Especially me. I’m the leader. I gotta protect that ball. So I’m hot,” said Jackson. Honestly, that hurts. If you had to sum up the Ravens’ game in a few words, it’d probably be, “There goes that dream.”
