Would Tyreek Hill’s story have been different if he had stayed with the Chiefs? Winning a couple more Super Bowls? Absolutely! That would have surely boosted his NFL resume! And Hill himself knows this, because he mentioned earlier after the Chiefs won the 2023 Super Bowl, “the first year they went, me and my wife took a trip to Tokyo. It was hard for me, you know? I had to get away from it all.” After exiting the Chiefs in 2021, Cheetah highlighted that without him the Chiefs couldn’t win a Super Bowl. But Patrick Mahomes’ team proved him wrong twice! And this probably gave Hill to reflect the reality, and also perhaps a chance to reunite, as per former NFL cornerback.
In a recent episode of Sunday Night Football on NFL on NBC on October 3, ex-NFLer Devin McCourt joined analyst Mike Florio to talk about Tyreek Hill’s potential trade rumors. So, what’s happening in Hill’s world is, many fans and analysts are speculating that the WR may join Patrick Mahomes and his team, the Chiefs, soon. However, although Tyreek Hill has himself dejected these rumors saying he “wants to be a part of” Miami, McCourt subtly advised him to follow Davante Adams’ path.
During the discussion, McCourt mentioned Hill “has done a really good job of coming in this league, maturing the business of the NFL. His answers were exactly what any player should do and say in that situation.” He further emphasized that Tyreek can’t control if he’s traded or not, but he seems happy in Miami, especially since he’s from Florida and enjoys being close to family. However, still, according to McCourt, there is no bad in rejoining a past team.

Yes! McCourt pointed out, “I think also in the back of his [Tyreek Hill’s] mind is like, I mean go play with Patrick Mahomes, again (that) team won the last two championships. Like I wouldn’t mind going there and I think that’s true and to me that’s okay as a player.”
Hence, as per the former CB, as Davante Adams has expressed his choice of reuniting with Aaron Rodgers once again, Tyreek Hill should take a look at his choice and chance. And with his current dodging at the rumors, the thing is he might not mind joining the Chiefs once again. Is it so? Well, it seems Tyreek Hill has something different in his mind!
Tyreek Hill is okay with Miami despite his envy behavior in 2023?
The rumors of Tyreek Hill going into the Chiefs aren’t new. Ever since he left the team in 2021, Hill has been considered as a potential trade for the franchise once again in the future. Well, this rumor also started when Tyreek Hill himself mentioned that he felt envious when the Chiefs won the 2023 Super Bowl. Despite that he made sure to congratulate the boys on their win. However, when Patrick Mahomes’ team won the Super Bowl twice, Hill revealed, “This year, when they won, I watched the whole game….I’m cool now. But the first year, it was kind of hard trying to get over that hump of seeing the guys do their thing.”

Now, as the Chiefs have lost Rashee Rice for some time at least due to his injury, many are speculating that Hill could fill in the space for the team, and could further win more trophies with them. However, shortly after these circulating rumors, Hill shared a cryptic tweet on X, saying, “woke up to trade news exciting.” In addition to that, when the media asked him what he meant from his tweet and where he sees himself in the future, Tyreek Hill cleared all the rumors.

He firmly stated his love for Miami, by saying, “You know what man, I’m just focused on right here and right now. We got a beautiful team here, and I want to be a part of it. You know, got a great situation here. My family loves it.” But if we recall about those comments he made in April, it’s clear he was envious, as he himself confessed to ‘running away’ from the Chiefs’ Super Bowl celebration of 2023.
So, will Tyreek Hill ask to be traded to the Chiefs again? What do you think?
