Last year, Will Levis‘ NFL debut was a blockbuster. The Titans‘ QB had 238 passing yards and four touchdowns and led his team to a win. Later, he had a 300+ yard game (against the Dolphins) with 1 touchdown and 1 interception for 327 yards. But it’s a team game! Despite his performances, the team only won 3 out of 9 games in which he started. This year, the team has lost both games. An NFL analyst is now asking the Head Coach Brian Callahan to take action.

The one guy who has cost his team two games is Will Levis. When you make dumb decisions that cost your teammates games, it costs them playoff checks, you are not very well-liked in the locker room and you could lose the team if you are the head coach and you don’t make a move so to me I think the leash is very short for Will Levis.” These were the exact words of Michael Lombardi during The VSIN Morning Line show. The QB’s mistake cost them dearly.

In the first game against the Bears, Will Levis committed a turnover that allowed them to take the lead and win the game. During the second game, the turnover against the Jets caused their defeat. That moment made many fans angry.

Lombardi requested Titans HC and GM to end the Will Levis experiment and said, “This whole Levis experiment is only going down a road where you dont want to go down. And Ran Carthon, the GM, at some point has to go like You know what we misjudged.” Levis, the 33rd overall pick in the 2nd round of the NFL Draft, is undergoing some serious bashing from the fans and analysts.

Even the coach yelled at the QB after the week 2 loss.

The coach had enough of him after seeing back-to-back losses in the games they should have easily won. After the week 2 loss, Callahan said that Will Levis is a grown man and needs to act better. The coach was more pissed with the fact that the quarterback’s mistake cost the team the red zone points.

Will Levis, though, understands that the mistakes he has made can easily get a QB benched. And he thanked the coach for not putting him through that kind of pressure. But, the losses are causing tensions in the locker room and the team management. The HC, who usually remains calm, has started to lose temper. How many games before he benches him?

The other option for the Titans is Mason Rudolph. He has played 4 season out of 6 in which he has won 8 games out of 13 games he started. Is he a worthy alternative? The Titans might have to check it very soon.
