Denver Broncos defeated the New York Jets. A major upset! The final scores were 10-9 in favor of the Broncos. The Jets missed many scoring chances and also committed many penalties, which was heartbreaking for fans. Not only fans, players, and analysts were also angry about their mistakes. One of those analysts went on a rant against the Jets coach and praised the QB Aaron Rodgers.

Former NFL star Damien Woody appeared on a recent episode of ESPN Get Up Show and said, “I’m so sick of the Jets being undisciplined as a team. It’s been that way since Robert Saleh has been there and it showed up yesterday against a team starting a freaking rookie quarterback yeah it’s unacceptable it’s a bad freaking loss and I put that strictly on the head coach.” His anger is justified.

The Jets committed 13 penalties, which had 5 false start penalties. The one particular penalty by John Simpson on fourth-and-goal from the Broncos’ 1-yard line in 2nd quarter cost them dearly. They could have scored a touchdown but had to stay content with a field goal. Rodgers had 25 of 42 passes with 225 yards and looked in fine form despite having some problems with his legs.

Woody felt sorry for the quarterback and said, “Aaron Rogers is absolutely right maybe if the guys had some discipline and stay there behind on sides maybe A-Rod could use that weapon to his advantage.” But the O-line couldn’t perform in sync with the QB. Rodgers was hit 14 times and sacked 5 times during the game.

Let’s review what Aaron Rodgers said after the game.

Aaron Rodgers’ post-game speech

This was the 5th time in A-Rod’s 2 decades-long career that his team failed to score a touchdown. And he thinks that the team was lacking in mental pressure. Not only the Jets, but the Broncos were also struggling to find focus. Broncos’ rookie QB Bo Nix passing for -7 yards.

Another issue that came out was cadence. The Jets’ O-line looked clueless and was confused about reading Aaron Rodgers‘ cadence. His biggest strength during all those 20 years turned into a weakness and led them to a loss. The issue became so worse that the head coach Saleh said, “We’ve got to figure it out, whether or not we’re good enough or ready to handle all the cadence.”

The Super Bowl winner also claimed that the team suffered because of mental mistakes and claimed that accountability is needed from the team. Loss with only 1 point. It hurts even more. Stay tuned for more acting stories.
