There cannot be an NFL week in which Jerry Jones has not had a reality check. Everyone is aware that numerous legendary figures have already done so. And it appears that another legend has questioned the billionaire’s commitment. But this time he is more than just a legend; he is a former Cowboys player. What? Well, yeah, and it appears that this ex-Cowboys star is also dissatisfied with Jones’s actions.

For those who missed it, this former Cowboys player is none other than Jesse Holley. He was present on DLLS Sports‘ YouTube debate panel. And there, the man completely roasted America’s team from the ground up. The former wide receiver claimed that not only has the team declined, but no one on the squad is concerned about winning anymore. He believes, “I don’t think winning games and championships is the objective anymore.”

Jerry Jones has been accused of doing this a lot of times this season. Yes, that is correct: not caring about football and making just money. This is not the first time someone has said such things about Jerry Jones. If you recall some legends have called him “cheap for making poor football decisions this season. Well, remember Mike McCarthy. One of the toughest hanging situations Jones has been dealing with on a regular basis. No one can forget him, right? Dak Prescott wants Jerry Jones to rehire the Cowboys’ coach

When a quarterback grows under a head coach for more than four years, he definitely does not want that rhythm to break. And this is one of the reasons Dak Prescott opposes Mike McCarthy’s departure. On one hand, Jerry Jones has sent mixed signals about the head coach’s future with the team. It appears that his quarterback, whom he re-signed this year, wants McCarthy solely.

Prescott in a recent interview explained, “Obviously, I’m a promoter of bringing (McCarthy) back. It’s tough to probably get your job done and do your job with all that hanging over your head. But credit to him, credit to his professionalism and really his coach’s style of being able to get guys being ready to play and go out there and finish and take pride in what we finish and what we put on tape.”

Jerry Jones has even indicated that with his team’s recent performance, he is proud of McCarthy. And after that statement, all you could hear was the billionaire awarding the HC another contract. However, nothing has happened as of yet, thus the tension surrounding this matter remains. What are your thoughts on Jerry Jones? Do you also believe he will be left out of the Cowboys’ inner circle soon?
