When y’all were busy with the games and New Year celebrations, there was a little drama unfolding between two of Fox’s beloved reporters, Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson. Imagine this: you’ve been working alongside someone for years, texting before games, always making sure to check in, but then suddenly, radio silence. Then, you start wondering – did I do something wrong? Was there some unspoken tension? Turns out, that’s exactly where Thompson found herself.

“I have a confession to make. Are you ready?” Thompson asked politely before disclosing the drama to her podcast partner during a conversation on Calm Down With Erin And CharissaI didn’t hear from you on our game.” And it was then that Andrews realized what the drama was all about. “Did you think I was mad at you?” Andrews asked her.

As it turned out, Thomson actually thought that she was mad at her. And can you blame her? Honestly, for Erin, it was clear that there was no bad blood. In fact, she seemed shocked that her friend had thought that way. However, she later confessed that she wasn’t mad at all. “Oh my god, no?” Andrews declared. And turns out it was all a misunderstanding.

Let’s get deep into the matter behind all this drama. Y’all know that sometimes the holiday season can be hectic, especially for reporters like them during the game days. And that’s exactly what happened with these two. “I didn’t hear from you on our Thursday game and we always usually talk or at least talk,” Charissa further said. “And then I didn’t hear from you yesterday. And then I texted you before the game and said I’m so excited for this game and then you didn’t respond back.”

The thing is, Andrews normally calls her before the game and sometimes the two even indulge in a small chit-chat. And when there seemed an absence from Andrews’ side, Thompson got an idea that she was mad at her. However, it was due to the Christmas games that the reporter was busy and didn’t have time to ping her.

What’s your perspective on:

Did Erin Andrews' holiday chaos really cause a rift, or is it just a funny misunderstanding?

As it appears, Andrews’ son, who is nearly 20 months old, is obsessed with Sesame Street and wants his mom to make an appearance on the show. “And now he’s got all the little friends,” she said. “And I want to so badly make a little appearance on Sesame Street so badly for my kid.” That said, she got a nod from Charissa Thompson as well, who also cleared out the misunderstanding with Andrews.

While the Christmas celebrations with her family are over, as well as that ‘Being Mad’ drama. Erin Andrews and Charissa Thompson now gear up to take charge for reporting as the postseason is just around the corner.
