The grandmother of two has had a rather difficult life as a single mother since her split from Pat Mahomes Sr. in 2006. However, the 52-year-old has managed to come out on top time and time again. Now, years after her divorce was officially over, it appears that the NFL star’s mother has found her trust in young love again.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Mahomes reshared a post of a newly married couple who had found a special way to give their wedding flowers a new, more meaningful life. They had decided to go to a cemetery and put a few flowers on each grave as a loving gesture. The moment was so wholesome that Randi could not help herself but exclaimed that she adored it. The 52-year-old wrote, “love this,” and added a few red hearts to show how much it meant to her.

Although it may not have been much, the young couple’s sweet gesture truly touched Randi. After all, the event planner’s marriage to Patrick Mahomes’ father did not play out the way she planned, and watching younger couples doing better no doubt filled the 52-year-old with some hope for the future. Although she may not have a partner at the moment, it looks like the mom of three still has a lot of love in her life.

While his NFL career might have helped him buy his mother a house in 2019 and more, the best gift the quarterback could have given the 51-year-old is her grandkids, Sterling and Bronze. Recently, his mom, Randi Mahomes revealed to the world just how much she loves being the 28-year-old’s go-to babysitter.

In a post to her Instagram, Randi ended up sharing a snap of herself with her grandchildren, Patrick and Brittany Mahomes’ kids, Sterling and Bronze. The picture showed the grandmother posing with the two kids. The older sibling was standing to the right as the younger child rested on the 52-year-old’s left knee. It looked like the three of them were having a fabulous time together. Everyone was all smiles for picture time.
