The Eagles have secured LB Shaquille Leonard and are eyeing another win over the Cowboys this season. The Eagles defeated the Cowboys 28-23 a month ago. The Cowboys had the game in their grip in the first half, but the Eagles spread their wings in the second and clawed their way through the Cowboys’ defense to secure a victory.

This time, the Eagles have one thing to worry about: the Cowboys’ home-winning record stands at an astounding 14 back-to-back wins at the AT&T Stadium. That’s precisely where Leonard’s role gets the utmost importance. The Eagles’ recent trouble with the defense came to the fore as they embarrassingly lost against the 49ers 42-19.

The Eagles seem ready to register their another win over the Cowboys. One roadblock is the Cowboys’ 14-game winning streak at AT&T Stadium. The Dallas Cowboys shed light on their exceptional record. This is the team’s longest winning streak at the stadium. The record is only eclipsed by the 18-game winning streak of the Cowboys at the Texas Stadium back in 1979-81.

Other than this, the Cowboys haven’t lost any game after the debacle against the Eagles and have maintained a spotless six-game winning record at Arlington by averaging 41 points per game. The Eagles need a phenomenal effort to take this off, and the table toppers have gotten their hands on a wild card.

Shaquille Leonard holds the key to fix up Eagles’ defensive struggles

It was a preemptive purchase, as the Eagles’ current LBs, Zach Cunningham and Nick Morrow, didn’t turn up in the game against the 49ers. Morrow made it possible to get Brock Purdy at least 175 yards and two of his four TDs.
