The 2024 season was quite a rollercoaster ride. The Chiefs were on the verge of a 3-peat, but the Eagles stopped them in their tracks. Even the 47th US President, Donald Trump, created history by becoming the first sitting US President to attend the Super Bowl. He was a supporter of Patrick Mahomes. But Jalen Hurts & co. took their Super Bowl LIV revenge by defeating them. Showing a big heart and continuation of the existing practice, the President extended a visit to the Super Bowl champions on Monday, the 28th of April.

However, Jalen Hurts was not excited about the trip. TIME magazine reporter asked the quarterback about their upcoming White House Visit, he remained quiet and did not utter a word. Does it mean something big? Jalen Hurts is not a very big fan of Donald Trump.

Back in May 2023, the NFL commentator Skip Bayless dropped a bombshell claim that Jalen Hurts and his agent, Nicole Lynn, left Lil Wayne’s Young Money APAA Sports Agency after the rapper took a photo with the President. Moreover, there’s still no clarity on whether he’ll visit the White House with his team.

Hurts simply isn’t interested. Even back in February, when reporters asked if he felt any pressure about Donald Trump visiting New Orleans, he gave a direct response: “No, he’s welcome to do whatever he wants.” The long-standing tension between the billionaire president and the NFL franchise has only fueled the fire.

After the Eagles won the Super Bowl, many expected the president to extend an invitation. Rumors swirled that the team wasn’t happy with the idea. But now, the franchise seems to have taken a significant turn.

However, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the Eagles’ visit to the White House. The franchise wholeheartedly accepted it as she announced in March, “I know there was a lot of fake news about an invitation that wasn’t sent or was sent. We want to correct the record: We sent an invitation. They enthusiastically accepted, and you will see them here on April 28.” However, Jalen Hurts is not the only quarterback who might visit the White House.

Trump even extended the visit to the Chiefs after the Eagles visit, claiming they missed it after their Super Bowl LIV win against the 49ers in 2020 because of COVID-19. Things are happening at a quick pace. Fans are eagerly looking forward to their visit. It would be great!
