Draya Michele isn’t having an easy start to her postpartum period after the last child! Michele gave birth to her daughter with NBA star Jalen Green on May 11. While Draya is starting a new family with Green, she is also bracing for a legal battle!

According to a report from TMZ, Draya Michele has sued her ex-boyfriend, Tyrod Taylor. Taylor, an NFL player, filled in for Aaron Rodgers last season. The Jets’ QB played 11 games and threw 1,341 yards with 5 touchdowns. With Rodgers taking back his starting spot next season, Taylor will be the backup to Rodgers at the Jets. While the regular season will start in September, Taylor already has his hands full with an off-field battle.

Draya has reportedly taken the NFL star to court for a breach of contract regarding a property. During their brief relationship, the power couple was living on a property owned by Taylor. During their time together, Michele convinced Taylor to reach an agreement to sell her the house at a later date. The Pennsylvania native also included an interesting clause to the verbal contract. According to the clause, she would get a discount on the final price, based on the amount she spent on the property.

But Draya did not draw up an agreement. One can call it a big mistake! It ultimately came back to bite her in January 2024. At the time, Michele and Tyrod reportedly agreed to a $3.2 million price on the house after the footballer rejected an initial $2.8 million offer. Despite alleged the verbal consent, it looks like Taylor has pulled a fast one on the model.

In her motion, the ‘Basketball Wive LA’ star brought on some serious allegations! Apparently, Tyrod is forcing Michele to move out with her children. But the model isn’t about to give up so easily. She wants damages from her ex-flame for the breach of contract after spending a reported $300,000 on the house.

Draya Michele always kept her affair with Tyrod Taylor from the limelight. However, the reality TV star did not have any hesitations in speaking about her current beau Jalen Green. Although their relationship hasn’t gone down with the fans well, Draya is too much in love to care!

The actress had a straightforward reply to the ones bad-mouthing her adding “Love is love,”. Considering both are “adults” according to Michele, her love story with Green (22) should not “rub people the wrong way.”

In an Instagram post, Michele shared an emotional thought with her fans after giving birth to Green’s daughter. ‘The Perfect Match’ the mother revealed that her father passed away on Mother’s Day in 2021. But, thanks to her daughter born on the same day, Draya made her peace with the tragedy. Other than her daughter, Michele has two sons from her previous relationships, Kniko and Jru.

Now that the lawsuit is public, it will be interesting to see whether it goes to trial or Tyrod Taylor settles it out of court.
