Despite being a marquee player in the NFL realm, Tyreek Hill makes sure he practices humility to some level. His prowess as the Miami Dolphins‘ WR doesn’t stop him from getting out of his comfort zone and seeking things that might “humble” him. That is why he seeks experiences from the most influential people and sets goals for himself.

Hill recently appeared in an episode of MILLION DOLLAZ WORTH OF GAME podcast and talked about his time with the Chiefs and things he’s looking forward to. He gave his take on what stopped him from being his best in the last season and how he will fix it going into the future. But most importantly, he’s on a quest to find “something new” and possibly reinvent himself through new people and experiences along the way.

In conversation with the hosts, Tyreek Hill answered the question of creating his “legacy” by mentioning two factors he would want to achieve in 2024. Per the conversation, Tyreek Hill is focused on his “season goals.” The WR gave insights about what stopped him from reaching 2K and how he could have prevented those interruptions from occurring. More importantly, Hill was positive about achieving the yardage mark and winning a Super Bowl this upcoming season. “Two thousand and also win a Super Bowl man,” said the Dolphins WR affirming his target in order to pass the barrier of just being called a good player himself and finally set his legacy up for the Dolphins as well.

The WR succumbed to an ankle injury late in the season, which stopped his run for two thousand yards. In hindsight, the WR would have definitely changed some things. “It was a lot of things that I could have done to prevented it you know what I’m saying. Like I be out there trying to free ball whenever I like wear cleats. Free balling mean I don’t wear spat um and not protecting my ankles.”

SPATTING a cleat means taping them to keep the cleats sturdy. But doing so takes away Tyreek Hill’s agility. That’s why he didn’t SPAT them and took an ankle injury as a result. However, before the Cheetah succeeds at his career goals, he is willing to work on himself as a person. For that, he looks up to some influential people to achieve this feat.

“I could have easily drove my McLaren down here and showed out in front of the whole entire city,” said Hill and expanded, “I’m still grounded because I try to come around people and I try to come around people that’s going to keep me humble and keep me grounded man, and show them that bro it don’t matter how far you make it. Man like, you still got to keep going, you still got to keep chasing.” To keep the spirit alive, the Cheetah seeks inspiration from Elon Musk as well.

“That’s the fun of it, that’s why Elon Musk do what he do. He a billionaire already, but he’s still out here trying to find like new s*** to create. So, it’s all about the mindset.” Speaking of “mindset,” the Dolphins WR set some goals for him last year. But he failed to achieve those goals. However, he’s committed to grinding harder this year.

The Dolphins fan will hope for Hill to bounce back with these ideologies imbibed in him as he strives to achieve his set goals and turn Phins into a dynasty.
